Dude, you don't put a heater in with goldfish. they're cold water fish... if you had a tropical tank then yes get a heater. but otherwise, learn to take care of your fish

i have 4 tanks, chiclids, reef, tropical, and goldfish, and the normalk feeder goldfish is my favourite, what's up whith people and all fancy fishes, goldfishes are so funny,,,, nice choice man,,, i rate 5 stars

i did a 50% water change and its my secend day cycling i did it cause my water was STILL foggy so someone told me to do it and i did. it helped but there is kinds a bit left. so i went to get that bulb philip 89 and couldnt find it at 2 stores and so i went to petsmart and got a 20 watt flo bulb. it looked warm. wich i didnt like but kinda do now. anyway i got the master test kit and decided i would learn how to do it. i got an ammonia of 0! and ph is 7.6 my question is why r the tests perfect?

When you fill the tank put newspaper down over the rocks, plants ect. add a layer of cling film and add the water. Once up to half way full, take these out and put in a bucket or whatever you want to. When you take them out the water should be nice and clean :)

To Nvidiots:

The plants need CO2 to grow, some need only the amount the fish produce but some need extra CO2 therfore a CO2 reactor is needed.(very expenpensive)

But you can get a nice looking tank without these CO2 demanding plants.
