I am a vegeterian and everything. But I believe that eating a hunted meat is far more better then eating a meat that you buy in the market or in a resaurant since the hunted animal had a happy life before being murdered but the animals in factory farms suffer pain beyond anyone can imagine.

Many of the captured birds come from New York, where transporting them from the state for shoots is illegal.

I am a vegeterian and everything. But I believe that eating a hunted meat is far more better then eating a meat that you buy in the market or in a resaurant since the hunted animal had a happy life before being murdered but the animals in factory farms suffer pain beyond anyone can imagine.
But still for me killing an animal is a disguasting thing especially if its for fun or clothing. Keep up the good work.

As for the NRA, go to the NRA website and search "pigeon shoot" under legislative issues. It is a mistake for the NRA to support these killing contests.

I am not a supporter of these pigeon shoots, but the same people who are trying to stop these shoots are trying to stop real forms of hunting. They put these pigeon shoots in the same category as deer hunting, turkey hunting, and other reputable forms of hunting. I believe that is why the NRA has stepped in. It's just violent viciousness and teaches children disrespect for life. I"m embarrassed that the NRA supports it. Real hunters don't kill birds in cages. The scary thing is these folks have no regard for life.

This is ridiculous!!! Are you kidding me? These things are so nasty. I do believe, however, the kids should be wearing gloves because these birds do carry germs, bugs and all types of diseases. I think that it is just a sport... Just like hunting. Somebody just has to complain. Unbelievable
