Characters don't make the game the overall game is supposed to do that. And calling somebody a hater doesn't make you seem any less of a hater. Haters calling haters haters. LOL That MVC 3 was good based on the fights in general but the overall game was not good at all. 1 hour to 2 hours of gameplay at best and that's on a non-working rainy day. I didn't buy SF4 or SSF4 or SSF4 AE for the fact that I knew that they was going to pull that bull. I guess you're probably gonna buy UMVC 3 too.

For me, it wasn't the character roster that was a problem, it was the quality; there wasn't enough of it. No Spectator Mode, shit online, X-Factor makes the balance issues of its predecessor look like a joke, little DLC when it was promised, and the fact that everything is being put in a seperate game...

Seriously, there is no way to defend MvC3 and Capcom now; those who do, sadly, are just angry fanboys..>_>

I couldn't have said it better myself. The game was incomplete crap. Capcom proved it by adding a spectator mode in UMVC3 which they said wasn't possible at the time and added Strider when they said he didn't fit. How and the hell does a character not fit in a crossover game. Plus Phoenix was cheap as hell. I couldn't believe that EVO 2011 didn't ban the use of that character. I am just going to enjoy SF Third Strike and KOF 13 instead of buying more new capcom fighters.

I agree. The amount of content doesn't make a game good. I did understand his DLC section but I think it applies to many games of this era. The roster is great overall. I know that Capcom will switch some things around eventually.

Not to mention, I've never been into fighting games. I think this game gave casuals gamers a chance and that's a win in my book.

I agree with everything that you said in this vid. I have never owned a MVC game before, but I have played 2 and it is very broken because of the things in that game. MVC 3 has balanced characters and overall, it looks to be a great game and I might just buy this one.
