I miss old school Battlefields for their sniping, where the maps were so large snipers needed to lead their targets a substantial amount. Nothing was more satisfying than getting a headshot from extreme long range on a moving target.

Maps are just too small in the recent BF games to have that. Hoping some larger BF3 maps fix this. Long range in current BF games was medium/close range in old ones :(

@xThaRaVeR In the Battlefield series they have implemented this system where your accuracy matters a lot. For example, if you shoot someone in the arm ( just like in reality) they are not going to die, just get hurt. You have to aim for the torso or head area, areas that no doubt will put your opponent on the ground.

Notice that they lost the base and he's still hiding in his little bush. Not doing anything to help his team or play the objective. Sniping is the opposite of being a Battlefield player. You don't arm or disarm bombs. You don't give ammo to team mates, revive or heal them, or fix vehicles. You hide and wait for somebody on the other team to do that and then you shoot him from across the map. BF isn't about KD it's about playing the objective, something you can't do if you snipe.

the audio/sound fx in this game are freakily good.

I was in the subway, a grenade went off, a MILK CARTON ROLLED AND SLID ON THE FLOOR, AND I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS BEFORE I WENT AND CHECKED IT.

and the guns even have that little metal click from pressing and releasing the trigger.

And the Jets! oh my balls the jets.

Here's my review of Battlefield 3: 10/10. 5 out of 5. *stars all over the place*.
