@vuurwerkisleuk That's a lot of peoples' favorite song. Probably his #1 song as far as popularity and general "well knowness". I'd venture to guess that 80% of the world's population is familiar with it. There's a very short video of it by Korean musicians performing it on the shores of Singapore or some location like that. Interesting that John gets credit for writing it, when he only wrote the bridge. But he became far more well known than Bill Danoff who wrote most of it.
Albums I have were purchased in the early 70s and I still have alot of them left. I always listened to his albums cover to cover and every song on his albums were like hidden treasures. This video is absolute!
i am indonesian .... i love his music.....john denver always be in my heart & i always love american music and country music..but not george bush lol...:)

Id rather live on the side of a Mountain~
Than wander through canyons of concrete and steel~
Id rather laugh with a ray of sunshine
Then laydown my sundown in some starry field~
~ is you (lol)
To my regal and beautiful Alaskan Princess~
From your guy in the Lone Star state~
Look forward to gettin back together again in June
In reality~I guess I never really left,did I ?
