I've enjoyed plenty of gay-themed films. However I found this film too full of murky images, disjointed plot elements, mystifiying metaphors, and just generally the director being too "into" him/herself to really know what it is trying to say. It's like they took the film and ran it through a blender and then spliced the pieces randomly back together. Plus it never comes closer than a tease to exploring what is central to being gay, male, and young: gay sex. The ending is a big let-down.

Teenage is a rather difficult part of everyones life. Reaching puberty between 9 and 14 is the worst. So many conflicting feelings and desires, all at once, biochemical changes in your body fluctuating. This movie portrays very well how tension builds up. No wonder teenagers are so difficult to bear. I find it rather funny when ignorant people growing up in countries where the age of consent is over 18 and even 21, compare these stories to a paedophilic rape. How pathetic is that?

In their way of thinking when it comes to sexual freedom, criminal responsibility, and religion or army they are very much similar with the Muslim countries. Where the age of consent many times is marriage. Can you belie that? In Europe the age of consent is 14 in average. I had my first experience at 12 for example, and many have theirs around 14.

Well, playing around with your friends, as I did, way before puberty(5), is discovery, but only of an anatomical level. As before puberty people are sexually immature,(in the case of boys you cant have a permanent erection), there can be an age of consent, related to this age. The only problem with the age of puberty is, that some reach it at the age 9 while others at 14. That is, there is a 5 years difference between different people.
