WC 2022 will be in the US; where they have at least some sort of footballing culture, not in some desert in January.

Do you seriously think they change their present laws for a WC? if so it would be great, but I seriously doubt it.

i live in qatar, plenty of foreigners live here and some dress like prostitutes. qatar doesn't ban homosexuals, it just considers them irrelevant, or non-existant. qatar was chosen because:
1. america already hosted the world cup
2. america has a lot of visa restrictions, ever since 9/11
3. no country besides qatar and america were willing to spend large sums of money
4. it's an opportunity to build relations with arabs.
