replay value is ok, I thought the levels got kinda boring after the second time through. 1 level is just following some guy and shooting from a car (it sucked the 1st time too). Lots of movies to skip. I think MGS3 was the best by far in terms of replay and game. They should rerelease it for PS3.

RAY was designed to fight other countries knockoffs of REX that couldn't replicate the armor, weapons, engine or avionics of the US prototype even with the plans.

This is why even after seizing control of the SOP system, Liquid couldn't use a railgun off of the knockoffs or even build his own.

To operate in water, RAY had weaker armor that could repair minor breaches... and just like the REX knockoffs, the ones that Raiden fought were inferior to the original RAY as well.

good question, no it wasnt totally destroyed, just that radar thing which forced liquid to open the cockpit which enabled snake to shoot directly at liquid. as you can see, its still open here. otacon just managed to reboot it and it still has plent of ammo somehow. besides it made for one of the most satisfying moments in gaming history
