The DC Reboot is kinda like Two-Face's coin, in one part it has pretty good comics, but on the other it has horrible comics.

I'm just glad that the most of the good comics are REALLY good comics.

@eateroftheflame Well what heroes do you like? To understand whats happening you have to start at issue 1 of whatever you choose. Otherwise you'll be pretty damn lost:P. I recommend Batman 1 and Detective Comics..Static shock was pretty cool too.

I would highly recommend you get Birds of Prey, which is a group of female heroes based in Gotham, and Suicide Squad, a group of villains forced by the government to go on suicidal missions. The great thing about the 52 is that it's very diverse. You want horror, check out Swamp Thing, Animal Man and I, Vampire. Science? Captain Atom, Mr. Terrific. All out fun? OMAC and frankenstein etc.

@TheKomgred I highly recommend Batwing. It's hilariously sweet seeing another iteration of a batman in the congo and it's pretty brutal. Batman has a bunch of guest appearances in the first 4 issues i've read so far.

@MrCoolFelipe You can get the hardcover edition for all the #1 issues for christmas if it's a gift for some one. DC universe online is free to play so the collectors edition is not worth it. If you want to get into comics then the new 52 is all the way.

The latter. Dan Didio said every previous crisis before HAVEN'T happened...but for example Batman's and Green Lantern's history is continued from where they left off.

Other examples like Barbara Gordon...who can walk now...but her title refers to her time in a wheel chair. The JL title has heroes meet each other for the first time (set five years ago) whereas Superman doesn't have his parents or his marriage to Lois.

It's complicated at this point...

I consider "post crisis" to be the all around best depiction of the super heroes especially Superman. The new 52 does not feel inspired to me in the same way. Superman's new outfit sucks with almost no yellow, the red/blue superhero is supposed to be Spider man, and they have toned him down TOO MUCH even more so than "post crisis" he cannot even fly now? just leaps really high?
