Getting the shock collar sucks but anyone who owns a basset hound and has neighbors should understand this. A basset can literally bark 20 hours a day without any provocation... and they are loud! Its one thing if you can deal with, its another thing explaining it to all the neighbors who will hate you.
First of all...that's cruel. Hound dogs are supposed to bark, it's their nature. My puppy would bark constantly, I gave her a kong and she doesn't bark at all now. You COULD have just gave him a toy. Second, what crazed you to name a dog Stinky? Not punishing him enough with that shock collar? Geez...
I am impressed, Much better than having to slap the dog to shut him up.

I need to get one of these for my bassett hound. He barks like apeshit when I leave...pisses the neighbors off something fierce!

This is horrible to watch. It's torture. The poor dog. I would never do this to my Basset hound. And he loves to bark.
