wow, you got very lucky, my friend. This must be a very different Germany from what my Fatherr saw when he piloted an Ilyushin 2 Surmovik, his mission was to destroy the rail lines!
My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND, which is the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. Markus Bott was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well.
Never heard of single wheel cars, I would think they had an issue with stability, 2 axle cars which you probably mean, (theese have 4 wheels) seem to be more prone to derailment than 4 axle and 6 axle, (2 and 3 bogeys)
thanks for posting - I lived in Bremen 1993-94 and in Kiel 1997-1999, haven't been back since then. I used to take pictures (slide film, seems ancient) at Abzweigestelle SS when there was still a tower there - saw the orange Seehafen Kiel diesels on their way out towards Raisdorf and the BR232's on trains to Rostock. Echt cool - danke! It really did rain a lot, though...
Hehehe, I'm bit, worried too, when people walk through the scene. Like when I filmed the two ICE-T trains coupling together in Berlin. Two women wanted to walk through the scene, but I was faster and step in their Way so they had to go out of the scene :-D
Ah, watching this video makes me yearn to visit Germany again. I loved traveling by train and looking at the train stations there, and that's what I miss most of all.
Bei 1:40 muss es "Overtaking AN S-Bahn" heißen, da S-Bahn gesprochen mir einem Vokal beginnt ("ess"). Bei 2:11 das ist keine 120, sondern eine 101.

Well done, steady video.
How did you know 19 of 42 cars derailed?
Cause of the derailment?
Do single wheel cars derail more easily then double-wheeled truck cars?

I think I read it in the paper or on the net. I don´t know if single wheel cars derail more easily, probably yes. But they´re "dying out" anyway...
