  • It's so refreshing to see someone enjoying himself without reserve; the accordion is such a fantastic instrument & so versatile, it's like a baby-grand piano on which one can emote so much feeling & emotion! One can become lost in the feel & the vibration of the music as it engulfs your very being. Very, very, good, thank you; you are quite an accomplished player.!

  • wow very nice.

  • Wonderful block chord voicings! May I ask, Is your accordion a Titano? And how do you have it miked?

  • The accordion is not a titano. Is generic and nothing special. I had it miked wiht two external mikes for the UTube recording and then through an alesis reverb ststem that was picked up by the digital camera mike.

  • very great playing!

  • Superb sound and excellent playing Benny, hope to hear lots more from you

  • Very nice jazz sound! Well played. Please tell me if the Basic chords move down in fourths and if 3 or 4 or 5 in a row? I read a lot about ii, V7, IM but have a hard time noticing or hearing them properly when someone is playing.

    Best regards - Manuel

  • Hello Correia,

I play inverted chords and waht is called block chording - like playing two notes with my thumb and reaching for an added 11th or 13th. note. It is all spontaneous nothing is scored. I really don't think ahead too much I just let it flow.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Ben
