May 10, 2010 Norman, Oklahoma and Lake Thunderbird Tornado Damage

Very explosive day. Storm on radar approaching Norman from SW. looked very weak,but exploded and produced these twisters in less than 10 min. Knocked off electricity in my neighborhood as a byproduct -. without computer and TV radar updates I was very nervous,the way the storms were spinning up so suddenly.

My Bro-in-law was in country boy when it was hit. luckily he survived with the roof caving in on him.

That's crazy footage! I used to get gas at that Country Boy on HWY 9 once a week! I guess I moved out of OK just in time, huh?
