@SilverLion09 My friends and I are currently working on fansubs for the series. :) If you look up Jungle Emperor 1989 subbed here on Youtube, you'll find the first 2 episodes up and with download links on the last parts of each. I am currently applying the subs to episode 3 and my friend who is translating is almost done with episode 4. ^^

Nice work, this song has always inspired me in a weird way; I don't know maybe ideals? This fit very well with Leo.

The only thing I don't like about the whole series is that they made Leo die in the 97' movie, he didn't die in "Leo the Lion", Lune saved him. He still is a great character though, flaws and all.

He died in the '97 movie because that's how the original manga went and they wanted to follow it very closely (Same with Laiya's death). Only reason he didn't die in Leo the Lion was because Tezuka changed the ending to fit what his audience would want instead of what he originally intended his Jungle Emperor story to be about: The life of a white lion from birth to death.

Yeah, that makes sense. Tezuka put family ideals into his series. I still think Leo and Laiya's deaths were too soon, Lune and Lukio have to be taught by themselves or by the animals. From birth to death, does make an interesting idea though, too bad they didn't do that with Simba :P Leo is still alive in my mind.

I agree with that, I feel sorry for them but according to the manga (Which I own) Lune grew up to have a family of his own and Lukio went on protecting the jungle like Panja did. I also think that Laiya's death was much sadder then Leo's, but that's me. I think if they did that with Simba TLK would be nearly as popular as it is XDD And he's alive in my mind as well, him and Laiya <3

I just disputed the claim. I credited Nickelback for the song and said so in the dispute, because as long as you credit the original owner, you aren't breaking any law ;)

I've done disputing in the past, but only about twice. Some people have warned me that you still get suspended if you do it too often, and the third time I tried disputing, it was allowed to be up for about an hour before being completely disabled... :(

Yeah I've heard about that.... I've disputed more than half of my videos and it's worked for them all except my Chirin no Suzu vid with Hand of Sorrow.... it survived 2 claims then got permanently muted, which is a shame because it's my favorite of my videos..... :(

I watched Kimba the White Lion on TV (1965 eps) when I was a little kid, than later on I decided to see the 1997 movie. Than I got addicted to Leo xD Right now I'm working on getting all of 1989 ones :]

Yay Kimba!!! :D I own the 1965 series on DVD, as well as the Leo the Lion series, the 1997 movie, the Symphonic Poem on VHS, and I have the 2nd boxset of the 1989 series. The first 28 episodes were went to me by some friends here on Youtube and I downloaded the 2009 movie both RAW and subbed :D So.... I basically have everything Kimba related that's a show or movie XDDD

It's just a re-telling of the first episode except the story if being told by the music and there are no words what-so-ever. The animation is a lot like the 1989 series but it still has it's own style mixed in with it :3
