I don't care about income inequality. It doesn't bother me that anyone else is richer or has more stuff. If I want something, I can make it or earn it myself. I just want my freedom. I'd like to start a business out of my garage without getting regulated or taxed into the ground, to build a shed in my backyard without violating a thousand building codes, to keep my taxes and spend it selectively on that which *I* deem fit. It's the govt, not the 1%, that intrudes into my life.

@MutantKush Rand is actually a better politician than his dad. I'm not sure Ron will win the primary. Rand Paul would WIN the GOP primary easily ANY time he runs. That's why I wanted him to run, but understand that Ron wants to win or retire. Pundits don't accept Ron over "foreign policy", but yet the SAME people accept Rand.

This is despite the fact that a President Rand is same as President Ron: he'd end the wars, but would get THROUGH the GOP primary process. Same might not be true for Ron.

Wealth really IS gotten by ill-gotten means. Wall street speculation is all fraud disguised as legitimate business transactions. THAT's what people are protesting.

SOME WEALTH is ill-gotten. Most of the wealth generated in this country is because of people like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, etc, and that is a good thing because it makes everyones lives better in the end. Even most "poor" people in the U.S. have a PC and a cell phone.

But calling for the end of capitalism, or worse, calling FOR communism or socialism is definitely NOT the answer.

Wall street speculation would be cut by 99% if the fed didn't manipulate interest rates.
