  • humans evolve to handle stress. its in the brain chemistry. kids are stressed for the regular reasons, school chores sports social life parents, and now we have new technology that stresses them out such as television, movies, video games, and humans need to evolve to accept these technologies along side with regular stresses. books just distract you from those things, and only a few will carry out reading over time, it wont fix stress.

  • WHY DID YOU HAVE 2 SPOIL IT?!

  • how stupid pitch . .its no t hard to realize why her house on sale now ...

  • LOL! 4:24

  • I love the bald guy! He is so funny yet a total jackass/jerk! He is super blunt and doesn't care. Lol

  • milf tits

  • I see the both series in Finland atm, and I can definently say that I was totally hooked with Shark Tank, but I couldn't care less when the Dragon's Den was out. I totally lost the intrest to the whole idea of the show, because of the US style explosions "WILDEST VACATION VIDEOS" overblown theme.

Also the Dragons seem way more unprofessional, and what's up with the host? She's constantly explaining obvious things to stupid, impatient audience. Also the inventions seem generally more useless.

  • Dot com

  • I just love these sharks, although you know they are cutthroat and extremely cold-blooded when it comes to cold cash, I just can't help it when they act like babies or teenage boys, hahaha

  • For the love of god people. Do you realize that Japan created Dragon's Den? That's right. So while you're wanking into your Union Jack underpants to show patriotism for a country that I'm willing to bet only half of you actually live in, please keep in mind that ALL variations of Dragon's Den, including Shark Tank are products of Sony.

  • lol another program to add to the list of programs America stole From Britain.

  • Y do the Yanks copy all our best shows?? Who wants to b Millionaire, Apprentice, Office, X Factor, Shameless, and now Dragons Den. Havnt they got any of their own good Ideas?? Well I guess they got Judge Judy lol

  • The UK version is clearly the worst. When you can watch an entire pitch (and every pitch) and have no idea what the fuck the actual product is, you know you fucked up your show.

  • Haha I like how people said Dragons' den is better, just because it's their country version. Stop hating on the US... If you don't like it then watch your version you canadians. Don't come here and start commenting your version is better. who cares if it's better just watch.

  • do they really need to make things so dramatic? Dragons den is so much better. You walk in and try to sell your product, no bullshit their personal shit nobody cares about.

  • Typical headache inducing fast editing and noisy music all the time - the british version Dragon's den is way more business like and because it doesn't cut away every half second you get to see the whole pitch and deal making. Just like the difference between US and UK Kitchen Nightmares - why do they make these intelligent programmes with intelligent people wrapped up in a format for 5 year olds with no attention span???

  • @oysterlovers welcome to america

  • it warms my heart to see what females can accomplish from the kitchen:)

  • Just give the kid some Nite-Quil Cherry flavor works wonders...!

  • Dragons Den is better , The sharks in Dragons Den are more constructive and calm. The Shark tank members(American version) are more aggresive and bully!

  • @SuperGisela13 They act that way for ratings to make it more 'interesting' than rather be calm about things. The way they do it gets them more ratings, no matter how rude or aggressive their attitude is.

  • @SuperGisela13 also, the entrepreneurs arent greedy americans

  • interesting

  • i just watch this show for the first time and i gotta say its really interesting, and im not a business type person

  • Hahaha! I agree with Soulgirl09! :D

  • its called whoop ur child, he or she will go to bed then

  • I came up with a winning product that is guaranteed to make millions!!! I wanna make portable chop sticks! Think about it, you're at a restaurant and they bring you rice or noodles and you got no chop sticks because it's some Irish joint. What are you gonna do? Have no fear, you got you're portable chop sticks with you in your pocket like a ball point pen! These chop sticks fold up like a telescope and don't take up space. Just carry them where you go. Guaranteed winner idea with millions!!!!

  • @classyfilms lol

  • @classyfilms how about some xanax with your meth?

  • @Darkreapersgrim yo even though this is a comment 1 year in response to yours. doesnt the show's intro say they walk away with nothing if they cant find someone to match their initial offer?

  • did this show stop airing?

  • That product will fail... There's not a big enough market for it.

  • If you want a real home bussniess msg me this is 120% freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • this is the best show ever in the world i love shark tank

  • haha the bald guy, was like only money relaxes me

  • @SonofRa47 there are 2 bald guys.

  • Yep, agreed. Canada's Dragon's Den is way better. This was boring, we didn't even hear the offers.

  • They always choose barbara

Which I love because she is always wanting to offer

  • She idea was dumb at first the the numbers were goood

  • Bah... The Canadian version of Dragon's Den is better.

  • dragon's den >>>>>> shark stank.

  • @HillDueceua I'm not sure how all of you can say Dragons Den is better! It's exactly the same thing with two of the same players from Canada and three Americans what's the differnce? Same exact thing. However, British Version is the most boring thing I've ever seen.

  • @skinbeautyful O'leary gets to be a total SOB in Dragon's Den and that's just fun to watch. Clearly he and herjavec were told to tone it down for the american show. That's the major difference between the two shows. Dragon's Den is just hard-boiled enterprising, cut the bullshit. Shark Tank is just sappy as hell with its introspective looks at the life of the amateur American entrepreneur. Everyone is always sobbing "I don't think I can afford to take out another mortgage". boohoo!

  • Canada's Dragon is Way better..hell Kevin O'leary, will shred you to pieces before you even open your mouth. and Kevin owns the most expensive house in Canada. :D:D

  • Including her son in both their needs for him to to both follow necessity and disciplin seem to have worked well and it is great that she has taken all the risks to bring this to other children and parents in a non patrtonising user-inspired way and is a worthy cause. Too many management tools to control kids are based on the wrong ideas that don't include the kid but just dictate to them.

  • bootstrap! not 50%

  • i saw this at school today xD

  • Id just like to say that i seriously hate the fact that shark tank chooses to cover up the canadian identity of robert and kevin ... quoting from the most recent episode robert: "this is what america is about" No! you are canadian..

    I AM CANADIAN!

  • hate this bitch

  • The old woman shark looks like she's thinking "Screw these damn books! In my day we would beat our children when they wouldn't calm down!" lol

  • i thought her idea was lame........

  • XD show logo reminds me of Nirvana - Nevermind

  • Hey kevin and robert, were they guest judges or are they there to promote the american version a bit.

  • check this episode out lol youtube.com/watch?v=KrZNGmXsdeA

  • did i miss some thing before 3:12 ? they never said their offers

  • @TBWWDB ya, there was a big orgy, and babs shat out a wad of cash

  • Love this show!

  • What the hell are kids doing with all this stress?? Geez, something's seriously wrong with parenting today!

  • @mich307 that's cuz their parents aren't asian lol

  • You make CDs and books for children stressed.

Is very good work you do!

  • Robert is the most presentable in all aspects: personality, looks, etc. He is very pleasant to watch.

  • @Estas01 ya but, he also has the least money out of all the sharks, execpt for babs. i think damond is interesting at times, because he is a multi-billionarie, and part of his strategy is to lowball them, and give them the worst deal!

  • fuckin barba only invest in women stuff!

  • How is Lorie Lite doing nowadays?

  • I love this show. I can care less if it is a copy of the British Dragons Den. The concept is good and it's addictive and appealing.

  • okay this show copied dragon's den and two of the "sharks" are the same dragons in Canada

  • check this episode out lol youtube.com/watch?v=KrZNGmXsdeA"

  • ɐǝpsxɯƃuzɹʞ=ʌ¿ɥɔʇɐʍ/ɯoɔ˙ǝqnʇnoʎ˙ʍʍʍ//:dʇʇɥ

  • check this episode out lol! ɐǝpsxɯƃuzɹʞ=ʌ¿ɥɔʇɐʍ/ɯoɔ˙ǝqnʇnoʎ˙ʍʍʍ//:dʇʇɥ

  • I would go with Barbara Corcoran even if she wanted 51% Because she is a power house

  • Just odd to see Kevin and Robert on an American T.V show.

  • That is the best TV show I've ever seen: very classy, interesting, catchy, etc. New idea each time, so it doesn't get boring. Fantastic job for the creator of the show, absolutely right people were chosen. Each of them is so different & makes this show very likable.

  • I would never wish failure on anyone...the market will decide that.

  • Why oh why is there a need for a back story to potential entrepreneurs. This is so over dramatic. And I love how American consider normal child behaviour as a "oh my son was hyper active". I mean come on!! or "I suffered stress and anxiety when raising my children" FUCK SAKE. Stupid over dramatic people with their sob stories. Move to Africa and you'll see you have it pretty good. Only rich people suffer from stress and anxiety when raising their kids. Fucking waste of space.

  • Rofl asking 250k for 20%, does she really think her company is worth $1,250,000 ?

  • the black guy is such a cheap asshole, asking for 51%

  • @SFhelper ye if you knew anything about this show you would know that kevin o'leary is the cheapest one...he frequently asks for 51 percent from all the entrepeneurs

  • @337429 he's not the cheapest he's the smartest lol

  • @FGGTZORZ lool i agree 100 percent, its the reason hes the wealthiest on the show

  • @337429 he was also on dragons den, and if you knew anything about this show you would know that he makes all business decisions based on the evaluation...its the reason hes the richest on the show

  • @SFhelper It's not that he is cheap, he's smart. If he feel he can take the concept to a higher level then she could, then he would need control in order to do so.

  • @xpandergt

he gave the same offer as someone who wanted split partnership while wanting full control of the company, cheap.

  • @xpandergt this show is whack, if you deal with them it's like mailing your gold out to companies !! act like you want to be on their show and then you'll see by the application what I mean, Did they give up 50% of their company?? No, and then he say's I am giving up Quarter of a million , that should be small change to him,lol all this is edited for rating's this show is lucky to be back, I'm an inventor and a realist, they are shark's,In the end people should say real investors contact me!!

  • @vlineguy These are adults who are making decisions for themselves and their economic self interests. This is business nothing personal. The shark aren't holding a gun to their heads and forcing them to do something they don't want to do. They are there on their own free will for a reason. They are seeking the venture capitalists help not the other way around.,

  • @xpandergt and wrestling is real lol check out imaninventors video's (Lisa Lloyd)she made million's in one video, on the donny doitch show on another telling people how to get their idea's to make million's and then she come's on the shark tank and say's oh I'm losing my home and cry myself to sleep, but never mention's she went through million's and lost it all, the crap where they say give it all to me and go invent something else is crap she did and lost it all lol .

  • Is this the american version? Why are there canadian guys there? Isn't the point to have like american sharks/ dragons or wtv? Not that I care im jst wondering

  • @TheWAW09 not sure how Kevin and Robert ended up there, but I do enjoy the Den better

  • @TheWAW09 Only so many rich people with nothing much to do.

  • @Millionofus coz these "business" are not great ones, likes mines or big brand like addas GM, Honda u others. So for that reason it is completly reasonabe to take control or 50% of the risk of invest in "sometihng" that you don really know is will gonna work. My question is why most f the people does not try to think like an investor?

  • @rikrichvet yeahhhhhh!!! she is HOT to my opinion. she looks fit

  • @rikrichvet I think Barbara is technically a GMILF

  • hhhhhhh...i realy want to know in what this man was thinking about in 2:39 ?

  • What happened to the show? I'm guessing it's too much of the responsibility for the Sharks to take on more business ventures.

  • @JayZoop No, They are picked up for a second season -- the last 4 episodes of Shark Tank Season 1 aired in January - February -- so I would think season 2 will start in the february - april months.

  • This is only the first step in the actual deal. Afterwards, lawyers get involved and do background checks on the person as well as the business. So if someone lied about the "numbers" (ie how many books were sold), the Dragons who made the deal would know about it before the contracts were made and the cheques were signed.

  • Nowhere neer as good as Dragons Den in the UK. Like all American TV way way too cheesy.

  • Is she asking for an investment or a charitable donation? Why do people think that an investor would take all of the risk and not want control or a lion's share of the profits that could be made from the capital?

  • how do they know that she is telling the truth about her sales

  • MILF!

  • BORING

  • i understan that they are investing a lot of money but in my opinion they tend to ask for a lot of control over the company reducing the income of the person with the idea

  • @chanchinpr We all have great ideas... without capital, nothing can happen. That's the trade off. Also, as seasoned professionals, they're not about to let some upstart take the company to zero. It's necessary to do so (controlling interest)

  • i dont understand how they evaluate the business.

  • LOL!!!!!!!1 2 canadian dragons are on shark tank

fail america get your own rich peopel bitch

  • Comment removed

  • Dragons Den is better.....

  • @SoccerguyJoe reading a book is better

  • @SoccerguyJoe its the same fucking thing pal!

  • @AndyinMTL Not really, but thanks.

  • can any1 tell me what the episode was when there was 1 guy selling the nutrition bars and he was called the mini shark????some please give me the link for youtube or tell me the episode or soemthing please!!

  • episode 2

  • not sure if you'd figured it out yet, but it's Element Bar

  • That is so stupid, 50 % is way too much, I mean her annual fiscal income of 500K would only be a quarter of a million, and that black dude is so stupid offer 49% to beat Barbara's offer that would still be a lot of money, and you would actually win, or at least keep going down if she tries beating you, until she is so low, then she won't own much of the company, like bidding, but reverse.

  • 49% means on person has more control than the other. 50% means both people have equal say.

  • 51% is so he coiuld stop his deal with the buisness, if you do 50% than your stuckk with the buisness fail or not.

  • One of the few shows worth of value on television right now. I love this show. What I dislike is how sometimes they dismiss a person with a good idea, because the person "overvalues" their company. The majority of these newcomers "overvalue" their companies, that doesn't stop the sharks from making a counter offer and dealing with them. That little portion I dislike, but overall this is one of a few good shows on tv.

  • @DarkReapersGrim

The rule of the show is that the presenter has to get every dollar they ask for. So if they ask for $250,000 for an investment, but their company is really only worth $100,000 for 100% of the company they are not going to be able to get a deal done on Shark Tank.

  • I think he and everyone else understands that. What he is saying, and i happen to agree with him, is that thhis uneccessary perimeter inhibits the show. If they can barter percentages of ownership, they should be able to negotiate investment dollar amounts as well. That way more deals will be done, and the show will be better for it.

  • but that's part of the show, they need to get at least what they were asking for or more.

If a person was smart they would low ball the number, then work their way up. That way the do a loophole on the show.

  • @DarkReapersGrim thats very true but u must realize that hundreds of ppl are seeing them and just a few are handpicked for editing in the show to be aired.

  • @DarkReapersGrim I agree mostly. The show is catchy. I have watched it a few times. Tell you the truth I get bored with all the dismissals with a good product. It's pretty much a teaching in a small area of a business person buying you and your product. All the percentage equations (the negotiations) all sound about the same anymore to me. The strategy of the show is facing 5 different people the business person trying answer all questions while on camera. More deals need to be made thou

  • I wanna get on this show but I can't think of a product.

  • She's reading. A book. The End.

  • Whether or not it's more staged than Dragon's Den, I love ST!

  • Now that it's on ABC, it seems more staged and phony.

The Canadian CBC version seemed more authentic.

He listens to a song for 30 secs and offers the englisher teacher $250K ? Bullshit.

  • boring show. dragons den is far better.the Canadian one, havnt seen the Brit version.

  • What happened to the table? It's funny to see those sharks are writing on their laps, kind of poor looking.

It would be nice to see Mr. Warren Buffet as guest and playing along with those sharks, just for fun though. He's a whole new level, I heard he's buying countries now. LOL!

  • maybe they fell asleep because its boring .

  • @PLISKEN12 Agreed...there are some really goofy ideas that people bring to this show!

  • whats with it all been cut out, wasted ages on some crappy intro and then the negotiations were all edited out, is that how this american versions works? also wow 50% and 51% I thought the uk dragons were greedy but this is madness.

  • The 50 and 51% is to see if he can take control of the business depending on how smart the entrepreneur is.

  • in the uk version they state a reason they dont take control is that it would make the entrepeneur less motivated which is true since then they effectively an employee with shares in the company instead of the boss. Are american people that dumb in that these investors feel they can get away with such greed?

  • dragens den is fucking lame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is ten times better and you know it!

  • 50 vs 51?

this american version of dragon's den is a joke.

stick with the UK or canadian one.

  • 51% of the company is more than half, even if it was only by 1%. But I would have not accepted 50% either it's too much of the company. Poor lady doesn't know what she's doing. She even said it.

  • What would you have picked? 51% or 50%? Would you lose control of your company? Share control of your company? Or not even get this deal. Also note she later comes on showing that her book is being sold nation wide.

  • I would've picked 50% percent of the company. There's no way I'd let someone have more than have of my company. And yea she does come back saying she sold her books nationwide. It really just depends on which person your working with. Are your interested in business?

  • what do u expect

  • the product sucks i hope she fails

  • not if it really works

  • Comment removed

  • poor black guy, i noticed nobody is really interested to do business with him.

  • that poor black guy has enough money to buy your fucking life dude

  • maybe your fucking life is for sale. my life isnt. dude.

  • no one cares. plus, how the fuck do you buy a life? what the fuck does that even mean?

  • how do I subscribe to this channel?

  • press the yellow button

  • I like this lady. An i will be enbeding this video on my profile on myspace and hope it will help get her books out there. Plus to help kids with the HADD/ ADD! I wish there where more people like her out there to help kids!

  • Big News! Borders believes in helping children! More Borders news coming soon!

  • Do you work for Borders?

  • I think that is actually the unintelligent woman with the unintelligent idea.

  • @mojoxrisin you're stupid

  • which will make more money than you did in your life?

  • we have got these books and CDs at home, but I also have the RELAX KIDS range and I have to say i prefer the relax kids CDs - she has such a lovely soft voice on the CDs- I think she did great in the tank though

  • I am a play therapist and a mom of two boys. where can we purchase your products? I can tell you several large distributors of products like yours that you might want to contact. Selling your products at national conferences for school counselors, psychologists, play therapists, and educators would really get your product into the right hands. Good luck!

  • You can find our products at our site StressFreeKids . com or Borders. While we are involoved with the groups you mentioned, we welcome your ideas! Thank you for your support.

  • she does not really need them I hope she did not oooh welll...

  • Lori

I am the editor of BAPT- British Association of Play Therapists magazine we would be interest in reviewing your books in our magazine would you be able to let us have a copy of those books you think would be of interest to therapists working with children in UK.

    Mary Carden

    Editor BAPT magazine

  • Mary, Please contact me through my website Stress Free Kids . com. I would love to have you review my books for your magazine. Play Therapists have always been passionate supporters of my work. I look forward to hearing from you

  • Lori, We have many of your books at home and my 6 year old loves them, especially the Angry Octopus. She too has trouble going to sleep without me. She is just now learning to sleep in her own bed! The books really help. Did the deal go through?

  • I am still hopeful that my deal with Barbara goes through. Keep your fingers crossed! Thanks for your support and I am glad your little one loves Angry Octopus. With Barbara's help I hope to have a matching plush animal for kids to sleep with.

  • I am thrilled to hear that my books are helping your daughter. I am still working through the details of "the deal." Trust me, I would much prefer working on new stories. Looks like I can not ignore the numbers. ugh

  • I posted the link on Facebook, Lori! Good for you! We love your books at my house. My son has been listening to your CD's at night for four years. They play continuously all night long EVERY night. He falls asleep within five minutes of my turning them on and he uses them to fall asleep again if he should wake during the night. We LOVE Stress Free Kids!

  • Thank you for taking the time to share this with me . It is little notes like this that remind me to keep doing what I do best! And that is relaxing children!

  • I have used these products and am proud to recommend them for children and adults. I would love to see the company grow. Lori, your products should be mandatory for use in elementary schools too! Love and light to you.

  • Thank you and I agree. Teachers tell us how stressful school is so why not acknowlege that we need to teach them to counteract the stress with actual relaxation techniques.

  • Is Barbara the only "Shark" that invests?

  • As far as I know Barbara is my only investor. However, Barbara did try to get Daymond to go in with her while I was on the set but he said he still needed 51%.

  • I am a certified chidlren's meditation facilitator and need to order several hundred units of your books and DVD"s. Do you give a discount for bulk orders?

  • We are happy to discuss our bulk order discount with you. Please visit our website Stress Free Kids. There you will find our contact information. Thank you for helping children!

  • Great job mom!!! You did so well :) I would like to come home for the book-signing at Borders... Love you!

  • Borders, Atlanta is giving me a chance! Story Hour October 8th

    Book signing October 10th.

    Hope to see you there.

  • LOL i actually love america, just as an entrepreneur myself you are forever trying to hold on to what you have created. I didn't think what she was offering was hardly fair. I just think that people just get caught up in the moment and don't actually think about the deal!

  • giving up 50% of your company is hardly what you call a good deal! especially when you only wanted to give up 20%. I haven't seen much of the us show but the sharks seem like they are only out to rip the entrepreneurs off. Like most things it highlights how the Americans are to greedy!

  • Bahaha, you're the kind of person who takes any opportunity he/she can get to bash Americans, aren't you? Get the fuck off of your high horse, the whole world is greedy, not just one country.

  • Great job on the show! My friends here in Panama run the only clinic that works with children that have learning disabilities and autism. When I saw Shark Tank, I thought that this could be a great thing to translate to Spanish for distribution in the U.S. Also Portuguese. Brazil. These materials are hard to come by. I've sent the your link to my friends here to check out (they speak English as well). Let me know your thoughts. Great job luring in Barbara!

    Brian W.
