  • Another really nice tune, Phil! Julius Wechter, the band's founder & lead marimbaist was an amazing composer & arranger. He wrote at least one song on each of Herb Alpert's albums in the 1960s & was the composer of 'Spanish Flea'. I got to speak to his wife a few weeks ago & might get to meet her this weekend in LA !!! Keep my fingers crossed! chuck
