He's officially committed to USC, that makes 5 5-star recruits now for the Trojans. Looks like 2009 will be another successful recruiting year for us, now if we can land Jelani Jenkins and Manti T'eo we'll be looking at another top notch defense in a couple years.

True, but we also had a couple high profile decommits from us which is pretty disappointing. We've lost Vontaze Burfict, Alshon Jeffery, and now possibly Randall Carroll. Byron Moore decommited from us a few weeks ago but thankfully he surprisingly signed with us today. It's just disheartening as fan when you're convinced a player is for sure coming to the university and then they change their mind at the last minute.
