@NorthFulton88, it doesn't matter whether you use a pick or fingers its what suits your band, what sounds good, i'm a heavy metal shreader in a band and our bassest swaps between the two, uses his fingers for the slower thumpin songs and a pick for a ll the thrash, sometimes swaps mid song, its what sounds good so stop bitchin, this band are a three piece (instrumentally) so he probably wants a louder sound hence he uses a pick.
