@TheGoldsCast We give quite a bit throughout the year, very sacrificially, and also our time, donated to different ministries and helping people. The purpose we put up the donation box is to give the public a chance to share in this blessing. We already own the lights, you clearly have no idea about the true Christmas spirit.

I feel that this is such a waste of the American dollar. We here in America should use it in better ways then this. Give it to the toys for tots and to those in need not like this. Christmas is about giving, not lights on your house, not bright at all, use your hearts!!!!

wow man i am VERY impressed. we have a house in our neighborhood that does this every year and every time i see it it just makes me ask to myselfm how long did it take them to get everything up and synced to the music? how long does this normally take you?
Half dozen teens help Mon-Wed before Thanksgiving and it is 75% up by that weekend. We rent a cherry picker. The rest of Advent calendar time I’m adding lights to our display, at a rate of 500-1000 lights per day.
These shows are great entertainment but really ... the extravagant, ostentatious displays are over the top in the sense that they seem to resemble one-upmanship exhibits of egos competing for attention of personal creativity... ( "stealing the lime light " )... overshadowing the humble austere origins of the birth of Christ / celebration of Christmas.
One has to wonder if these sorts of flashy light shows are a celebration of the birth of Christ ... or Thomas Edison ?

These displays are beautiful unless you happen to live across the street from one. Watching flashing lights and listening to the same song over and over and over again night after night drives neighbors crazy!

I wonder how many people replying "waste of energy" have ever attended a concert... and freely paid for that giant "waste of electricity" for pure entertainment. So here is a guy that pays for it himself and is using very efficient ways to do so - all to celebrate Christmas and entertain the rest of us.

1 minor thought... there are too many background lights (trees, pathway lights, etc) that are lit up say on the right side, when the action is on the left side. It is slightly easier with less lights on the in the background, because the part that is synced with the music REALLY stands out. Again, I wish we could have something like this at our house! Great job!
Excellent Job! Very impressive. This is the first time I seen an ALL LED display synced to music. Are you using a Renard based controller with Vixen? I am using that. I have a combination of LED and bulbs. I only have a 16 channel controller as I only started doing this since last year. I wanted to add a 24 channel controller this year, but I am running out of time. I have new lights so I will probably put last years show to the new lights(with a couple new songs added as well.
Dude, christmas trees and christmas lights have NOTHING to do with christ at all. It's a tradition from non belivers who wanted just a litle bit of light during the long and dark winter nights, and the church just stole that tradition because they saw that it became very popular

Way to 1-up the neighbours...still never found anyone to 1-up me at Halloween though...I don't really decorate for Xmas, except the comical skull-wreaths on the grills of my hearses and such...BOOOOORING...This one is neat, though.

The LEDs are energy saving lights, draw 1/5 power of regular lights, and since they are dancing to the music, they are not on static all the time like everyone else's lights. Last December my bill only went up $30.
if they are looking for donations why didnt they just use the money they spent on all the controlllers and lights before they bought them???!!? lol

I wanted to add a 24 channel controller this year, but I am running out of time. I have new lights so I will probably put last years show to the new lights(with a couple new songs added as well.

Dude, christmas trees and christmas lights have NOTHING to do with christ at all. It's a tradition from non belivers who wanted just a litle bit of light during the long and dark winter nights, and the church just stole that tradition because they saw that it became very popular
to believers. the same for santa claus, because he has nothing to do eighter with
the cellebration of the birth of jesus christ , so now you know why you shouldn't mix christmas lights with religion. get it?

@3DPeter That being the case, why cannot we not enjoy Christ's birth through the music inspired by Him and a person who set this up for us? I am personally very grateful for Christ's birth, so why should we complain about accuracy rather than celebrating the fullness of Christ's life for us and in us? @jeffostroff front of the 2nd level, you have the 3 colored circles on the side, you should cover around the front face.
Impressive display, lots of color :). This year I'll be doing my first year of automation and your display is definitely a inspiration :).

The LEDs are energy saving lights, draw 1/5 power of regular lights, and since they are dancing to the music, they are not on static all the time like everyone else's lights. Last December my bill only went up $30.
