AWD only kills it at the line.. after that it is a disadvantage for 1/4mile race because of loss of power through the drive train. an AWD vrs a well FWD is a good race for that reason. Once the FWD is moving all bets are of and may the best one win!
Parasitic loss creates a different opinion. AWD is great off the line but splitting torque between four wheels instead of two kills top end. And on a track (save for the Audi's) AWD cars typically exhibit the same handling charcteristics as a FWD. Some are rear biased so that doesn't necessarily apply but one thing I will say....RWD owns both. Formula 1 and NASCAR should prove that for you.

I due agree that at the line the cobaltSS gets the srt there but not due to turbo lag... I cant use fy first gear really all i do is spin once in 2nd gear its all over for the cobalt though.. However i havent seen any cobalt that has mods on them either to make the best judgment either...
I agree, when tuned properly, fwd kills awd. Those chickguys only bs cuz all they can do is get off 0mph,...those asswhipes cant handle the measuring, calculations, and estimations involved in 2wd cars. Too much for awd-fucks to handle! jaja
im torn between a cobalt ss/sc and a evo and this vid makes it harder to pic... lol. the cobalts cheaper but the evo has the respect...

SS was doin well, and it only has like 240hp. It was supercharged not turbocharged.
