Interesting sound. The audience look like a bunch of morons though. They would have a hard time understanding that Bach is a better composer then basically all the others put together. Bach is the instrument of GOD. I say this as an athetist

It's good to see the five string played this way and showing just what it can do besides bluegrass. A few pickers here in th UK are going in this direction too. Uke and five string sales are on the up here over the last few years and you see more pub jams with a picker or two on board.

This is so beautiful. Fleck is one of the coolest musicians on earth and Bach is one of the greatest composers I've ever heard. Great stuff!

Bella Fleck is one of the most outstanding musicians in the world today. This video proves it. It is just a shame that some members in the audience did not seem to appreciate the genius that they were seeing before their very eyes. At one point, it almost appeared that Bella had to give them "that look" before they settled down!

@jimAG3Y I join your praise of Bela, I have seen him and the Flecktones many times. Be fair to the audience though, few Flecktone fans have every Bach piece memorized. the temptation to clap at what appears to be the end is natural.
