What the hell is M1A1 Tank Infantry? Were Tankers...period. 19K10-19Z Armor Branch, that's it. Infantry is 11 Series, not 19 series.

@FrostyBowman Considering the game itself is based off of the USMC and Tank Infantry is a known concept where tanks are accompanied by Infantry squads on the ground.. Take that hooah derp elsewhere, Soldier. ;)

lol they don't have to be. There's a mission editor for regular joe's like me who just want to have fun. You want a semi realistic simulator, separate the tanks from infantry, add a few thousand civilians, create commanding branches, add ATC... This game isn't mean't to be a real-life counterpart (no games really are atm) but it's the closest the market's got right now. Try knowing some basic facts before commenting, and leave your own herp at home ;).

@d3boy2002 I realize that the game isn't meant to be a real life counterpart, my statement was referring to the fact that the units, vehicles (Save for the added Apache that came after release and the A-10's) are all based off of the Marine Corps. The single player campaign focuses on a Force Recon team and a MEU that's been sent to aid the country. I was in the military to brosif, at 2nd Tank Bn in the USMC no less. ;)

yeah for sure you can run the campaign and such, but heavy missions (like the one above) would probably lag a bit. I play with 3.2ghz 6core hd5850 4 gig ram, and i still have trouble runing this game on medium :P

I didn't really like the pop-up info that much, other than that, not bad. Are you using any mods? The key ones for machinima are JTD Fire and Smoke, WarFX Particles, and WarFX Blastcore.

I mean, how do you get all those videos? I guess you use camera.sqs recorded by Fraps, but how do you control the camera so smoothly during flights. How do you manage to follow the plane?

As for camera angles, I sometimes just record a still footage, then move it or zoom in it in a vid editor (looks quite cam-effect-y)!! Otherwise, i press a or w or d in game to move the camera. As for speed control , I usually just slow the footage down or speed it up.

@ppeter92 in the editor, cameras can be "attached' to any object, or they can simply be their own entity.. controlled somewhat like a plane. i have a few basic vids that show the use of these cameras in action.. but they aren't quite as epic as this.. im not much of a fan of this song tho..

haha yeah...I think that's the real fun. Seeing how the AI act under certain conditions. I have a question mate. Do you make your scenes manually via camera.sqs or do you use software like director? Do you recommend any resources/tutorials? I can do allot although I know there's a shit more to learn :)

Lol I use the camera sqs. One tip I can tell you is to not limit yourself to the game. Like, I first capture a piece of video moving in one direction,

then I move that video picture itself in the other direction, so you get a 3d-type image when viewing it. Very cool effect I found by accident :P
