dan is a well balanced character..his only weak point is that his counters are of only one color..if the opponent places a "trigger dot" of the red color then dan is totally screwed

Just keep attacking as fast as you can so that the opponent barely gets any chances to attack you. Against a decent human opponent this kind of brute force strategy usually won't work, but against the CPU it works pretty well, even on Expert level.

It doesn't look like much of a strategy when I play but if you just continuously stack your blocks off to the side, it really screws an opponent who spends too much time thinking about where they're gonna set their blocks. you get to the diamond WAAAAAY faster and it's surprising how many chains just set themselves up that way. But that's just me. I'm all the way in Alaska, what do I know. :3

@Contricity i do the same thing! I resorted to that strategy because i kept losing around the time i started playing and found how fast this works toward the crystal.

Yeah, but you only get a diamond once every 25 blocks or so. So the strategy was to either kill the opponents before they got their first diamond whenever possible.

"retracing mind"?? That makes no sense at all. And as for cheating.. no, what would the point be of that? This is just a video of me beating X' mode on expert with Dan, what's so hard to get about that? The time probably isn't that good anyway compared to what a better player could achieve.

I'm sure it can be done quite a bit faster. It's just tedious cos Dan is giving the opponent lots of ammo for a huge attack, so you have to take them out with one or two major attacks, or keep hitting them constantly and hope that they never manage to get through your counter-blocks with a red circle.

Put up a video where you beat Y mode with Dan on Expert with no continues and I'll be impressed :P I've managed both X' and Z mode, but Y mode is still impossible for me with Dan.

Huh? You don't get to choose a difficulty level when you play against another person.. You just play against whoever joins your game.
