Alexis wakes the other girls up and as Kate recently said is a 'disturber'. She often wakes up so early that she's up with Jon.

In the new house Hannah will sleep in one room and Leah and Alexis will share a room now because Hannah sleeps in late and Leah and Alexis get up early.

I'm not saying it's a punishment. They just saw an easy solution to an ongoing problem. She would wake up the other kids during naps and in the morning, that is why she was moved. I saw the episode. They didn't have another room, so they have a pull out bed down in the basement that becomes Lex's bedroom at night.

Lex likes it down there, she has more privacy and seems to be territoraial of it.. you see it in the episode 'Movie Night'.
