What year is this film from ? The Place Bastille is missing the Bastille Opera so I'm guessing this is before 1989, possibly even in the 70's, because there is a train station or building that is no longer there instead they have the Opera Bastille building which was opened in 1989. What was that building that was there before ? It appears in old maps of Paris.
@TheAmericanEvita Very well spotted! Albert Lamorisse's documentary "Paris jamais vu" (litterally, "Paris as never seen", don't know if there is an official English-language title) came out in 1967. The building you see is "Gare de la bastille" ( a railway station). Both "Albert Lamorisse" and "Gare de la Bastille" have articles in the English Wikipedia, if you need more info. :) The music you here in my vid is not the original.
