Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia #07- Boss- Giant Skeleton, Monastery Backtracking

This is one of the very few parts of the game that I would dare to call unfair, mostly because to beat this guy you have to figure out that when you hold up on one of those magnet things he will back off. ALWAYS. And once you let go he will come forward. If you know this, then defeating him is simple. But actually learning this in the first place is just something that is not obvious in the least.

Oh well.  Pretty much every other part of the game is fair in terms of difficulty.

I beat this boss with ascia and secare.  It was a bitch. I would smack him until he would get me to the first magnet (one you used) and then I'd hop to the third to get him back to the other side and shoot back to the first and repeated.

I beat him a different way. I had secare on both hands and I waited till he cornered me, and when he does he can only kick his foot out which u can dodge by just ducking and get a ton of free hits but when he backs up, he's most likeley gonna body slam u so u just quickly run away from him and then u can attack him when he's bent over, but i usually use the magnets 2 get 2 his other side, wait by the corner and just repeat the whole thing until he dies.

It is admittedly easier to just double jump past them, but you can take them out with Ignis pretty fast.

This boss actually wasn't all that hard for me once I starting doing that thing with the Magnes glyph. That + Ascia = quick kill.

It's set sometime in the 1800s (game doesn't give exact date).

Not sure if barbed wire fences/prisons with searchlights were around back then or not.

too me, i use the same magnues trick but i use confodere to kill him. the thing is you can attack when the thing trys to kick, grab or punch you. between the attacks are small pauses im its movements

just absorb it from the 1st necromancer on ruvas forest. he'll start to cast a spell on you but it is actually the glyph.

I just tested with Arthroverta, if you don't open the chest, it will pop out of the ground every time you enter the boss room. It should be there.

You'll encounter 2 more of these guys at the same time later in the game, but you'll be powered up by then and take'em no problem. The only bad part is that the second skeleton will be facing back at you, so he'll do his wierd backwards thing.

I think the more enemies you kill with them? I'm not 100% sure. I know there are special items you can find that make mastering them more powerful. You can see the different weapon type mastery on the right in the menu, it's all those red symbols with numbers.
