  • he didn't mention that when farming ethanol we need diesel for the equipment/machines and the fertilizers and such are made from petroleum, further increasing its carbon footprint.

Other than the idiotic libtard comments these are great lectures.

  • I love their professor

  • Why do universities still use chalk boards? Not white boards?

  • @harryps3 whats the difference. chalk uses chalk that runs out and white boards use marker that dry out. They're both obsolete. It probably just depends on the personal preferences of the professors.

  • A lot of this stuff is confusing because I'm 14 haha :P

  • he is joe biden

  • @aahmed7861 LOLOL!

  • the fact that the Professor is able to laugh at his own jokes shows that he actually has fun lecturing, and doesn't just feel obliged to do it. Kudos to you, sir!

  • hi! im from the philippines and i really enjoy watching the lectures here. the mr robertson is so great! how i wish i can go there and be a part of his class. i really am dreaming to study in the US. I hope i will see more lectures about chemical engineering especially in unit operations. :)

  • man ... this guy ..great !

  • who the hell does that person think he is? @ 12:39

  • Uh... no comment.

  • what?

  • This fellow reminds me of Joe Bidden

  • @chazybrewster lmao. i see it

  • he reminds me of joe biden

  • If I had professors like this in chemical engineering, I wouldn't have fallen asleep so often!

  • Same here

  • @tranfan fuker

  • Such an interesting lecture. A great professor!

  • Great vids. I only wish the camera person would have pointed the camera at the notes more often.

  • Thank you so much for this lecture ,the railroad is not as you describe it ! I like to have more lectures about chemical engineering ! thank you

  • and it could be found on snopes

  • Professor Robertson, I was honestly under the impression that, technically, Morton Thiokol, Inc. was headquartered in Brigham City, UT. Now they may have done the testing in SLC, but I noticed you stopped yourself from pronouncing the full name of the state's capital city? Anyway, the lecture was AMAZING and should make it clear that even Stanford students can learn more about virtually ANYthing. My impression is that they are VORACIOUS learners in general, anyway; you are very fortunate, sir!
