Was this made a week ago? They officially came out and said that what Bashiok meant was that they are actively exploring bring Diablo 3 to consoles and that they have not confirmed a console release.

I believe Diablo 3 will be out in March, mid to late march.

Diablo 3 won't release any LATER than the end of April. Blizz promised a Quarter 1 release in 2012, and Blizz usually sticks to what they say. (Usually). I'm looking forward to it immensely, but I'm fine with waiting, as I'll be glued to my PS Vita in a month or so o_o

I would say by mid summer. This game has been in the works for a while now and Blizzard really needs something to compete with SWTOR and Mass Effect 3. Then again, a lot of speculation points that the new WoW expansion will be out around that time so that could potentially throw my estimated release date off. Worse case scenario, I would say late fall 2012.
