I'm with all of you. I was born in '83, which is a short time before the first Eddie and the Cruisers movie came out. A few years later, my mom introduced me to both Cruiser movies, and I fell immediately in love with this particular song. I like the way John Cafferty delivers this Springsteen-esque ballad with the emotion his voice possesses. I only really know John Cafferty's music from the 'Eddie and the Cruiser' films, but both the music and the films are excellent; they both deserve greater recognition

Eddie & The Cruisers II: Eddie Lives is a highly underrated sequel, with great music and pretty good storyline. I love this song
