This is awesome. I was there. This is the way they reply to people yelling for Lighthouse, or Nickel Creek. It was so hilarious. I love love love these guys.
I was there, too! YES! This tune was crazy. My wife thought it was really creepy and odd, though, which was true:) I really was dying for them to play Morning Bell instead.
Chris Thile dealt with the drunk dude well though, saying that eventually, the noise must cease...
So obnoxious. I was up on the balcony and he was one section over from me so he was pretty loud.
Just to let you know, I heard some woman say that she understood why a bluegrass band would play The Beatles. Because Kid A was by The Beatles. I wanted to punch her in the face. Haha.
They're playing a silly version of Thile's Nickle Creek's sweet Lighthouse's Tale. They're making fun of Thile. There's an old video out on the tubes of Noam singing it...
