  • My first synchro season was 89-90, so this is very nostalgic for me. I always loved the Haydenettes, they were the team to look up to!

  • The old films are great. My daughter (skater) wasn't even born then...

It seems more difficult because you are with so many on the ice.

    Thank you for sharing

  • In 1998, the ISU adopted a more internationally understood term, "synchronized skating," as the official name of the sport.

  • Why/When did the sport change from Precision to Synchro?

  • This is amazing....you can tell that even though synchro...well, precision...was still old and developing, the Haydenettes were still THE BEST. They were on the cutting edge, doing footwork that none of the other teams would even think about. I congratulate you for being a part of this!

  • I had no idea Tom McGinnis coached the Haydenettes. He is one of the coaches at my home rink. He used to choreograph/direct the club show, and he was known especially for his choreography in a number called "Bostonians" which is basically precision, and it looked kind of like this!

  • i knew it! its thayer arena :]

  • where is this?

  • warwick RI
