i love the prayers that are going on in the room and i love the relationships that the parents have with the other parents...its amazing how people can go through the same thing and come together.
I'm not religious but I think that it's nice that the characters in BMW are. That a show gives it's characters a firm belief. Now a days it seems like everyone is so scared to offend anyone that that never happens. BMW does it in a way that is so non-intrusive, when it IS brought up (for example when Shawn is talking to god when Turner is in the hospital, or in this episode where Allan says "Please god") these are just the characters beliefs. That way the your generation who was not blessed with the show has a chance to watch. I just graduate from high school this past summer, so the current time slot is not too bad. But I prefer to sleep in, so they should change the slot.

This episode really got to me because my mom lost a lot of babies herself. The stories she has told me are utterly heart wrenching. That's what makes this show great. You can relate to it in one way or another.
Topanga needs to learn to be positive instead of being the complete downer.
I mean yeah, I understand that this is serious but Shawn was positive thru out the whole thing. Topanga is obviously full of herself to learn not to be positive in situations like this.

yeah I was born early too.. but I made it out ok.. but im sure ti was hard..
but my mom had her 3rd baby in 2006 and he was bron early.. she died along with the baby they say that it was the first time in 20 years that the mother and baby died. It was really sad. They say everyhting happens for a reason but its thing like these that sometimes make me think. I mean what eason could God have for something like that. I guess we will never know.
I remember when my daughter was in the NICU for 2 months, all of the parents tried talking to eachother too, to see how eachother's babies were doing. I on the other hand, preferred to be left alone with my daughter... it was a very intense and emotional time in my life. It truly is scary.

Watching this episode makes me wonder what it was like for my parents. I was one of those babies and I can't even fathom what it was like for them.

yeah I was born early too.. but I made it out ok.. but im sure ti was hard..
but my mom had her 3rd baby in 2006 and he was bron early.. she died along with the baby they say that it was the first time in 20 years that the mother and baby died. It was really sad. They say everyhting happens for a reason but its thing like these that sometimes make me think. I mean what eason could God have for something like that. I guess we will never know.

I remember when my daughter was in the NICU for 2 months, all of the parents tried talking to eachother too, to see how eachother's babies were doing. I on the other hand, preferred to be left alone with my daughter... it was a very intense and emotional time in my life. It truly is scary.

the media became politically correct. it didn't want children to experience the real world.
networks also refuse to show tv families with a belief in god.
it's sad. Boy Meets World was the only show i really watched as a kid, never watched any cartoons, i remember all the lessons i learned from it. it's society's loss that shows like Boy Meets World aren't on anymore

I know! They cut out all drama from there comedy shows! Like,you never see the kids cry or go through anything truely emotional. And I didnt even notice about the God thing,but now I do. You never see people praying on shows anymore,never on Disney shows.

@gogunners05 Thats one reason why todays kids grow up different from us last 80's early 90's kids. Today in america god is frowned upon, TV can't touch the name, unless there making fun of the name. Todays shows teach kids about dumb crap, every show in the early 90's had a real life point to it, sum hid the point other let it be known.

I know its so sad isn't it? I wish they'd at least make a movie someday of this. But yeah, shows like this are extinct. Along with Cosby Show and others, they are long gone. We can at least buy the box sets and pass them on to our children. :)

In the episode "Santas little helpers" Eric put on a santa costume and gave toys to a bunch of orphans, and he decided to do a sort of "big brother" thing with one of them, named Tommy.
