Out of curiosity, is this the remixed AND remastered version or just the remastered with the original mix? I need to buy a new copy of ten but I'm worried about compression issues with the legacy edition. I also miss the reverb... Wish I could just hear the album again for the first time.
I liked it, until it kicked in. This re-master sounds like its being broadcast on the radio. terrible job. If the engineer responsible for this mess is out there, engineer to engineer, you did shit job! I don't care how many Grammies you may or may not have, I could have done a far better job.
@mellodge I agree...original "ten" sounded too "MTV-ish" & weak for my taste at that time , this is only slight improvement... I'll love 'em till death,but perhaps this was unnecessary, those songs sound like a motherfucker live...

It sounds like Pearl Jam just walked in and recorded this motherfucker like it was no tomorrow. Yes, it's compressed, but then again, I forgive the loudness war for being stupid (the exception being "Raw Power"). My vinyl copy - 180 grams to be precise - isn't this great...but then again, I get not-so-professional record play setups.
Mindfuck. One of my favourite lyrics ever. This song is fucking great.
