  • hi, I think it would be fantastic if you could re=shoot this video and add the first shot and the first pulling out of the first polaroid. I nearly had kitten here not being sure how to proceed and if I was doing the right thing pulling on the flap like I did. It seems it is all fine now. But the additional stage of taking the shot and pulling it out would have been super.

  • useless camera.

  • hi, yes i can manage to help you.

What type of battery do you have?

Polaroid battery are not usual one.

  • heyy i just got the same camera from ebay, but i am kind of having problem with installing the batteries, could you please help me with it? thanks

  • Hey, I just got the same camera from ebay. I am kind of having problem with how to install the batteries, could you please help me with it?

  • Do remember there are two types of Polaroid camera about -- the Integral film kind, and the Peel-apart film kind. These are entirely different in operation, each with their own type of film, which will not fit the alternate type.

Cameras which auto. eject a black card use integral film which contains a built-in battery.

The 340 shown above is a peel-apart film camera.

  • thats a cool collectors item

  • how much would this camera sell for today? My friend has one of these and is trying to get an accurate value.

  • Best thing to do is evaluate if it works, and get an accurate inspection inside to see if there's any rust, or battery leaks. Clean it well.. and check for similar models of his camera with similar characteristics of use and condition, and then decide on the price.

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Today, I bought a Polaroid OneStep Silver Express Instant Camera at my local Goodwill store and I don't know how to turn it on.

    Please help!

  • Hello,

You just have to buy a pack of polaroid 600 film and put it in the camera (you need to open the door just at the bottom of the front of the camera).

No need to have a battery, there is one in the packfilm.

It is now ready to take pictures.

  • Nice camera! I have had several of those over the years, and I hope to get another one, now that I discovered that Fujifilm is still making film for them!

  • i got a polaroid spectra

and i was wondering if there is a way i can load it without it automaticlly taking a picture....

    AND...

can i put plain white photos back into the camera to use again??

  • Hello,

Don't know if i understand well your question but if so, you can put in a new pack of film, it will eject the black cardboard. You don't have to take a picture now. You can wait.

Don't really understand what you call "plain white photos", can you tell me more?

  • AIlrightt...

I Just put in a new pack of films like a week ago, and it shot out the black card thingy.

But i took it out again, to see what it looked like haha.

And when i put it back in it automaticly shot out a film peice.

Is there a way to stop it from shooting out the black card...

  • you cannot stop the camera to eject something when you put inside a packfilm.

so i don't really know why you want to as your camera is ready to shot after the cardboard is out?

You can let the packfilm in, it won't be a problem.

Tell me more if you ve got to so i can help you or write me a mail.

  • So, here's the thing:

I just got a Polaroid land 340 yesterday.

And I need to know what type of film to get.

    Can anyone help me out?

    ..please. (:

  • You have to buy polaroid 669, 690, 125 studio, 667, 664, if you find some of them.

Or buy Fuji FP category : FP100B (BWhite), FP100C (Color) and Fp3000B (BWhite).

You can find them online easily now.

  • thanks

can one put fp-100 fuji instant film in this camera ?

  • Indeed you can!

  • Yes you can use Fuji Fp Film like 100B, 100c silk and glossy, 400b, 3000b

  • Awesome. Polaroid is dying though, I hope someone continues to make the film.

  • Fuji are still making Type 100 film - i just hope they continue to do so.
