Apparently according to Kotaku this is the best Video game adaptation 'ever' in their own words. Trust me it looks slightly odd now but it's Takashi Miike, he's a renowned director I don't think he would havee taken this on without thinking he could do it. Anyway it's apparently coming to the west so I'll watch it then and criticise later.

I'm scared... really. As a fan I'l definetly *whisper* Download *whisper* the movie... but it just seems like a meeting of GS cosplayers. It's just that... it didn't have to be like that, I know they looks are part of their character and all, but it seems so awkward to me.

@TilkiAndre1 I suppose you understand Japanese. Granted, the original line is "食らえ", which comes from the verb "食う" (to eat). "Take that" would be correct too. But I thought in this context "eat this" would be more suitable (as in that MJ's "Black or White" PV when Macaulay Culkin delivers his dad the riff saying "eat this!") Anyway translation is no exact science. 20 guys will come with 20 different results and yet all of them could be right (or wrong.)

@CUMBICA1970 Literal translations tend to not work in certain situations as they are often colloquial phrases. "Eat this!" sounds a bit immature and Bart Simpsonish, whereas "Take That" is a more accurate way of translating a gotcha moment.

The English translation for the game went with Take That, and I agree with it.

By the way, the movie looks INCREDIBLY over the top. Which is good because frankly, so are the games.

Of course, you Ace Attorney fans see Dick Gumshoe along the trailer in the detective coat at 1:02 and 1:15. Also, at 0:54, the D-L6 "murder" case that has never been solved for 15 years. Also, you saw Mia's death (Turnabout Sisters) from 1:03 to 1:05. The 4th case, Turnabout Goodbyes shows the boat scene from 0:58-1:00. At the end, there are witnesses we know (see next)
