@PirateLassie Just one thing I have to object to. As much as I love these films, Spirit and El Dorado (and Prince of Egypt or Joseph) aren't Disney films. Much to my regret. But otherwise, I love the whole thing! I was thinking of doing this, but never got to it. So thanks for making this!!!

Ain't that the truth! I ate and drank alot of the Disney and Don Bluth films alike. I was a cartoon addict and still am...Pixar and Blue Sky kind of substitute my fix for the time being. I'm hoping Don Bluth will come out with another hand drawn traditional or Disney for that matter. It's a dying art and I will mourn for the day we happen to lose the art entirely.
To some degree, it's happened on television! Can you believe how rotten some of the animation is? Some may say it's stylized. But let's be real here. It ain't stylized. It's rationalized, homogenized "powder egg" art. It all looks the same and most of the humor is the same. Many, but not all, television shows are taking the short cut! You have to buy the good shows on DVD for quality's sake!
Sigh.Enough said. :D Yes. Let's keep our hopes high and for the best that animation shall not perish.
I completely agree. It will be a DARK day when traditional animation dies. I am sure it won't be soon though because Anime is sure hot and it is still produced in good quality.
On a totally different topic... have you seen the excellent quality of Avatar. It gave me hope for N.American animation again.
I'm afraid that I think Disney is going down a dark path with their animation and stories. It just isn't as good as it used to be (but then again, maybe I just grew up).
I feel so, but I have hope for this new film coming next year called "The Princess and the Frog" Its been handdrawn so maybe this is a sign they'll go back to doing classics. OR I could be completely wrong.
Hey what happened there? I saw one scene from Road to Eldorado but that was like 2 seconds long and the only clip of that movie in this whole vid! What happened :(
