according to me, the main reason for mahabharat to happen was drapuadi ke khule hue kesh. in every episode or the other, she poke her nose in giving excuse of her kesh. nw there r so many good shampoes n conditioner, she shld have used them n mahabharat wld have been avoided. atleast during ancient india, amla, shikakai shampoos were there but she always wanted dushasan ka lahoo as if it is anti dandruff with vitamin E. stupid draupadi !

I guess they forgot the whole kidnapping episode of Amba. But from what I know Bhishma didnt make the "mistake" without reason. Everythign in mahabharat has a reason behind it and I was told that the reason Bhishm made this mistake of kidnapping was so that he could get the shrap of being killed by Amba. I dunno if its true but every action i am told has a past and a future related to it. watching this doesnt give teh whole story but reading surely presents a lot of background on a lot.

What Bheeshma did here was certainly a mistake albeit not such a big one... But becoz of which Amba became deserted...
I am not sure if he is completely justified to force abduction but he could have asked the Rajkumaris once whether they are willing to come to marry Vichitraveerya. It is not their fault that their father did not send invitation to H'pur. Look at Amba in isolation. From being wedded to her love of life to being deserted by everybody, bheeshma played a role in her life and he himself was unwilling to correct the mistake to protect his oath. Is it that wrong for her to get pissed with bheeshm?

i watch hole mahabharta .. each and every episode.... i can say this EPISODE IS ONE OF THE BEST.. episode.. of hole mahabharta.. because..PARASHURAMA and BHISHMA are most powerfull characters of this epic...and the fight between them is AWESOME...!!

according to me, the main reason for mahabharat to happen was drapuadi ke khule hue kesh. in every episode or the other, she poke her nose in giving excuse of her kesh. nw there r so many good shampoes n conditioner, she shld have used them n mahabharat wld have been avoided. atleast during ancient india, amla, shikakai shampoos were there but she always wanted dushasan ka lahoo as if it is anti dandruff with vitamin E. stupid draupadi !

I guess they forgot the whole kidnapping episode of Amba. But from what I know Bhishma didnt make the "mistake" without reason. Everythign in mahabharat has a reason behind it and I was told that the reason Bhishm made this mistake of kidnapping was so that he could get the shrap of being killed by Amba. I dunno if its true but every action i am told has a past and a future related to it. watching this doesnt give teh whole story but reading surely presents a lot of background on a lot.

There would have been nothing wrong if Salwa raj would have asked for alms from the great bheeshma....
I would understand someone like Amba unable to speak though as one can imagine in an ancient society a damsel opening mouth to a complete stranger who she saw for the first time in full rage would be too frightening and she said it only with Satyavati who was another woman.
What Bheeshma did here was certainly a mistake albeit not such a big one... But becoz of which Amba became deserted...

I am not sure if he is completely justified to force abduction but he could have asked the Rajkumaris once whether they are willing to come to marry Vichitraveerya. It is not their fault that their father did not send invitation to H'pur. Look at Amba in isolation. From being wedded to her love of life to being deserted by everybody, bheeshma played a role in her life and he himself was unwilling to correct the mistake to protect his oath. Is it that wrong for her to get pissed with bheeshm?

before dragging all the princesses he should have atleast asked them whether they are ready to marry vichitravirya or not? he just dragged them and insulted shalva naresh by defeating him infront of everybody. a person like bhishma has lot of responsbility when behavior is concerned. they cant afford to make a single tiny mistake and bhishma did make a mistake. so u cant blame someone else for what he did. moreover men in those era were more about pride and honor then love.
