LOLOL, that's true. what i meant to say was it obviously doesn't happen as frequently as southern america. i've never seen one in person before and i lived in both america and now reside in canada.
That is unbelievably freaky. I live in NB and already a few small alleged tornadoes have hit. It's getting to the point that one of these things can hit anywhere.
yeah im from hamilton and i was walking home from tim hortons and all of the sudden i was like holy shit theres this huge pouring windy thunder storm i was lucky tho the tornado didnt come here
I live in Toronto and I was at work while this was happening, the sky LITERALLY turned purple, yellow and red, and our fast food place had a power outage for half an hour.
I live in the GTA and the where was horrible that day! I was so freaked out. I wasn't suprised to hear that there was a tornado in nearby. Def. one of the worst storms I've ever seen.
lol i was watching global the day it happened and then it suddenly showed a warning that theres tornadoes in toronto and told us to go to the basement
Great video.....what amazes me is all the people driving around apparently oblivious to one of the worst storms Toronto ever had. Don't they look up when driving a car? Or listen to a radio? Unbelievable.
well excuse me, i was working in that "STUPID MALL" when that thing touched down! keep your rude comments to yourself. If you were in that "stupid mall" during the storm, let's see who was wishing then.
man when I saw this on CP24 I was like HOLY CRAP. Had no idea this was happening in Vaughan. Feel so bad for the people with their houses destroyed :(
very funny comments but, sorry mate. she's saying "send it to City Pulse' ,City Pulse is the local News Team. On City TV. It's a shame really because 'send it to City Hall' is a lot funnier.
our house wasn't hit too bad, but my friend was home alone in durham when the tornado came through. it went down her street, split into 3 parts, and dissappeard. when she called me later she was in hysterics. it was crazy! and i found a squirrel hiding in my garage afterwards. smart squirrel :)
Wholeeeeeeeee! My stracciadella is ruined! Oh my goiwd! anche le melenzane imbanate e destruito! WholEEEEEeeee! Woodbridge used to be de besht! Now all my zias and zios and all my cousins can get coshtruction jobs tho! And our cumba' the developer iza gonna make alatta contracts. WholEEEeeeeee!
you are talkin stupid guy... "gonna make alatta contracts"... Your nonno and nonnas would be disappointed in their relative talkin so loose about ppl's lives. I'm sure ppl who lost all their shit and even loved ones wouldn't have talked so shallow back in war times. Gutter ghetto talk...
when i say you are "talkin stupid"... it's the part about how your family is going to profit from this... the accent doesn't matter. As a partly Italian immigrant myself, it's imbarrassing how stereotypes are often so correct. Just be sensitive that just because the tornado didn't hit you or scare your kid, doesn't mean it can be made a joke of, cuz it comes off arrogant. The accent just made it evident that you are another proud Ital immigrant blabbing in an elitest way. Thas all.
you actually believe that my cumba' is a developer? Then I have some land to sell you at low tide.
no one can change what happened, and I doubt that the distraught families are combing youtube, giving a fk about what some random people on the internet have to say.
I lived in Alberta and Saskatchewan, they also get tornadoes. One of the worst was Black Friday in 1986. it was an F4 and caused a lot of devistation for Edmonton
GLOBAL WARMING!!! Lolz i was in mississauga rite next to the border of toronto and the storm was fuckin crazyy. My phone, internet, and tv all got disconnected. the power even went out a couple of times. Buu it was kinda exciting. XD
I was so lucky! I was heading to the Vaugan shopping center when the rain got bad and I decided to turn around. Then I heard thats where the tornado hit!
I was amazed how fast it hit, I was at the computer and I looked outside and saw some of the gray clouds coming... So I figured I'd have a smoke, I went to use the restroom quick, came back out a minute later and I swear most of the trees were bending over from the wind and rain... It literally went from a little gray outside to wicked nasty outside in a matter of a minute or two.
ok if you see a tornado a mile out..... please dont be a pussy and hide indoors with a camera.......

Not that I'm a denier of anthropogenic global warming,
but southern ontario is in fact the north end of "Tornado Ally."
As a life-long torotonian and 20-something, I can remember hearing about a few different twisters near Toronto over the past few years.
SO this isn't necessarily a direct sign of accelerated climate.
