  • I WiN

  • WTF? The fps counters are fake... You can clearly see that the GX2 is lagging but the framerate is higher than 30... And the GTX280 isn't lagging and the fps drops sometimes under 25?!?!?!

  • @postvideo97 it's called micro stuttering

  • 9800GTX sucks at this game!

  • Extreme overclock! :D plus 3dmark 11 score comparison gt550m vs gt555m watch?v=5V6SJESdQN0 happy gamming!

  • 9800GX2 Wins

  • GTX 280 WINS :)))

  • Well done for nVidia the old cards such as 9800gx2 9800 gtx and gtx 280 still are very nive cards... thumb up!

  • y por que 3 nvidia vs 1 ati???, la mas poderosa jamas superada HD 6990...

  • @yael117 noob its about the year 2007 -2008 that year the best ati card was 4870...

  • @Emeengor por eso!... cuñado!

  • ati wins

  • Please guys, How much a GTX280 is? (NEW). Is it worth buying one of these today? for how much? I want to buy one. For playing PES 2012, Splinter Cell Conviction, RE 5, Crysis (maybe), Assassin's Creed, etc, games that are a little bit heavy. :)

  • @LiveMotor Is hard to get a GTX 280 because is old, which has 240 CUDA cores. You can get a GTX 560 1gb for less than $200, which has 336 CUDA cores or a GTX 460 1gb which has the same CUDA cores of the GTX 560 but draws more power and runs hotter. Assasins Creed is a demanding game and a pretty good one. You are better of with the GTX 560 or GTX 560ti. It all depends on what resolution you're going to play.

  • @SWOgottaGO Thank you so much.. thanks for help.

  • Thumbs up NVIDIA fans !

  • @TheRazer43 lol no nvidia fans

  • You can get the 4870 for less than $100

  • I have 4850x2 and am proud of it :D but some guy is selling his 9800GX2, should I buy it? If not I'll recommend it to my friends!!

  • @Nightmare1066 No, that's outdated and runs very hot.

Get a GTX460/560/560ti or GTX570 or ati 6870/6950 if you want to play games without paying a lot of money

  • @TortillaGaming Yea I would definitely agree with you on that. Except I can get 9800GX2 for like... 90 dollars.

  • ati 4870 or 8800gtx? I can't choose :) i will only use it for mw2 mw3 and WoW. (i had a high end gaming pc) but meh i can live with low/mid range PC. cod games never were that demanding anyway :P

  • @s1gnex a HD4870 BY FAR dude :)

  • @InsaneLegenD756 Ah okey, well i was getting a 4870 but almost for the same money im getting a GTX285 wich is far better :D

  • @s1gnex Wel, it's definatly better then a HD4870 lol but not soo much better :) the HD4870 still is better then a HD5770 you know. But a gtx 285 will do just fine for EVERY game, even Battlefield 3 :) so happy gaming :D

  • @InsaneLegenD756 My friend played my BF3 alpha trial on hes gtx285 and it didnt ran well so dunno, ofc the game is more polished when released. We'll see, the open beta starts this months :)

  • @s1gnex strange, a friend of mine has a HD5770 and it ran absolutly fine :O maby he has a cpu bottleneck or uber high resolution with AA enabled :D

  • @InsaneLegenD756 Nah he has core i5 750 but not OC. isnt 5770 better then gtx285?

  • @s1gnex nope. A GTX 285 is faster then a HD5770, BUT a HD5770 has Dx11 and stuff, a gtx 285 got direct x 10.1 so the HD5770 is more futurproof. But whatever, you will be able to max every game in dx10, what do you need more haha :)

  • @InsaneLegenD756 If it is, then i could get one for the same money i paid for the gtx285 :(

  • @s1gnex Dude! a 285 is a shit tonne faster (near +10fps in crysis)! Fuck dx11! Neither has enough speed for most dx11 effects anyways. Also I know this was from 2 weeks ago but.... dude!

  • @JayJapanB I dont know anything really about old/mid range hardware :P Always had high end.

This is a decent card yeah, and i dont care about dx11 really.

  • still the nvidia is better

  • nvidia hat die nase dank deren technologien vorne und von ati hab ich länger nichts mehr gehört

  • My 4870 + Phenom II 940 still maxing out every game at 1080P :) Can't wait for BF3 to drop!

  • @superduperjew maybe at 2fps lol. BF3 is not going to run at full settings in 1080+ on a 4870+940 PII

  • @LordJummy Whatever you say!

  • @LordJummy so buying a whole new computer? only the 6000 series and i7 are the only ones capable fro that nerd as fuck game?

  • @porkyminch01 I'm sorry what? I don't recall talking to you, so I have no idea what you are trying to say. Try thinking for a few seconds before hitting random keys. I have no idea what you are referring to, and your sentences are so broken they make no sense. Thank you.

  • @LordJummy most computers normal people use still have core 2 duo processors, phenom II was high end a couple of years ago I cant believe computers are so broken, consoles are much better they cost a fraction and you just insert the disc

  • @porkyminch01 why are you talking to me? what in the world are you blathering on about?

  • i must say nvidia do alot better with minimum fps across nearly all gen of gpu but for the price AMD RADEON do keep up and can sometimes beat nvidia.

    gtx 480 user here :)

  • @MrMike655 MM I love GTX 480 I played with it in a 3-way sli , sweet gpu.

  • @MrAlexjenkinson

    ye im using 2-way SLI on p67 chipset with i5 2500k 5.1ghz :P

  • @MrMike655 i5 2500k @5.1Ghz , how much did you pay for liquid nitrogen? :)

  • @MrAlexjenkinson

im on air on a noctua cpu cooler i5 2500k can oc to this level with relative ease

  • @MrMike655 Ahh , have any idea of tthe highest clock I could get using a Core 2 Quad? I'll be upgrading not happy with my current system specs: Intel Pentium 4 HT @3.2Ghz LGA 775 4GB Ram DDR2 1866Mhz 500GB SATA 2 HDD Ati Radeon HD 5450 1GB Windows XP Professional SP3 -The Upgrade- Intel Core 2 Quad @2.66Ghz 8GB Ram DDR2 1866Mhz 1TB SATA 2 Master 500GB SATA 2 Slave 2x Ati Radeon HD 6570 2Gb's in Crossfire Windows XP Professional SP3
  • @MrAlexjenkinson i will be honest i dont really know but im sure you can get to 4.0ghz on good air cooling.

i came from an AMD phenom pc to my new 1155 sandybridge setup.

  • @MrMike655 So your not a all time Intel guy like me then.

  • xD why dont use HD 48XX x2 ? using 3 NVIDIA cards and the one has 2x gpu ... lol moron

  • ati is the best

  • how mutch for 9800 gx2??

  • Vista suks

  • gtx280 wins at explosions it keps the fps , while the other cards are droping down.

  • ati HD 6850 rulez!

  • gtx 280 ^^

  • funny how the game is in HD while the video is in 360p......

  • Yea. The 4870 kicked AMD/ATI into high gear for a while. It was an amazing card for the price.

  • Disable Post-Process Effects

  • My laptop has the same performance as the 4870 at that resolution. Then again. This video is from 3 years ago........

  • i have an xbox O_O

  • @DSRvmv111 Im sorry to hear that

  • @DSRvmv111 :D

  • The gtx 280 runs smoother even thought the 9800gx2 gets more frames

  • Guys commenting below, just grab either a phenom x6, or a sandy bride 2500k/2600k. Or wait till bulldozers/ivybridge. XD

  • Do you know that CPU didn't help to speed up the computer because no HT (Hyper Trend)? That's why it is slow. I was lucky that i didn't buy it. whew. I'm going got Intel i3, i heard they're got better and fast.

  • @Maul9999 i believe "ht" refers to as hyper threading, just saying, and if you have the money buy the i5 2400 best 200$ you will ever spend lol :3

  • @ForgeMyLife Lol. Do you mean sanity CPU? I'm not really ready to got that CPU. I just want to got old Intel i3 for start then i will start to got LGA 1366 kit. I heard LGA 775 dual core isn't good as Intel P4 HT, but Intel make it improve alot and inside HT on new CPU. You see those list on video is Intel quad core gaming CPU on specs system? It is not really fast as Intel i5 quad core with HT you know. That's why it is little slow.

  • @Maul9999 yeah i thought you were getting a sandy bridge gen i3 so for the price its better to get an i5, but if you don"t have the right board its pointless, like i think you said

  • @ForgeMyLife It is because i don't have RAM for 2 gen Intel.

  • GTX280 WIN!

  • they don't sell a 512MB 9800 GX2

  • @muffins4tots each gpu has 512 mb of video memory not 1gb shared even tho its total amount is 1 gb of memory

  • @PsiloCybinDreamX I know, it was just a tad confusing

  • I´m a ATI FAN xD

  • And think about 4870 is cheapest(in my country):PPP

  • i got a overcolcked 5770, and it runs crysis 2 at max

  • @pablokornilovich

my 9800gt runs that console port trash on max lol

  • 9800GX2 rockin it hahaha

  • Ive got the HD6850 seems to run everything fine at max graphics.

  • proably the hd5870 1gb was a better option for the review

  • Nvidia FTW

  • @vedad3d

You can see which graphics Card performs better in Games. In the Top Left Corner you can See the Number of pictures per Second. The higher fps (Frames/pictures per Second) you have, the smoother your Game runs.

  • on 32 sec i got that 1 :D

  • do u mind if i can have one?

  • я нихуя не понял по не русски

  • я нихуя не понял по не русски

  • guy can someone explain me whats the difference, its all same to me....i am asking this becouse i dont weak with PCs.....and they are all awsome!!

  • GTX 280 in my oppinion

  • Thumbs up ATI fans !

  • @DarkBacho lol Ironically the thumbs up #'s turn green , Nvidia's just breathing down your neck right now :P

  • @JSUTSGJ Nvidia expensive crap, isnt it ? ATI cheap and monster within its price admit come on LOL

  • @DarkBacho This is true >.< I had a 5870 crossfire setup just upgraded/downgraded to a single 590 which ever you prefer and yeah it came in at a hefty price D:

  • @DarkBacho i always hated ATI, but after dead od my 9800GX2 due to crappy drivers i get ATI and its great and smooth

  • @golumpygo GX2s just had problems because the GPUs heated eachother so much. I've revived tons of 'em with the old oven trick and sold them for a solid profit.

    I loved my GX2s for Folding@Home. XD

  • @DarkBacho

    ati=bääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääääää

  • @DarkBacho you mean AMD fans

  • @DarkBacho Nvidia Best Graphic Card!Thumbs up For (i)Nvidia Fun !!!!

  • ASUS ARES

  • hd 5970 4gb (L)

  • 9800 GX2 is the best of these card

  • ATI FTW

  • ATi wins all,i had nvidia 9500GT and gta 4 was 12 fps,now i brought ati 4650 and it has 20 fps wich is very playble!ATI is the best to me

  • @111PAWN Compare Ati 4650 to 9800gt

  • my GTX460 bought 3 months ago from the uk was £130 ;)...overclock to 880MHz stable from 700MHz <---(stock clock) simple, easy and way worth the money value

  • @orkie55 Dude.. Check his other videos before you talk.. Check out his latest systems.. 4-way SLI GTX480s.. 4-way SLI GTX580s.. Shut up orkie55.. Fanboy..

  • @wwyk1993 Maybe he finally understand that nvidia is better for gaming. Everyone that is new to computers and do not understand much always pick what they "think" is best, which happends to be the majority of the people, thats why they buy ATI/AMD crap. What they dont understand is : They get what they pay for.

  • @orkie55

This video is from 2008 ¬¬ you see the old catalyst drivers?

  • @orkie55 ams and ati drivers now cost 1000 there the same get over it

  • @kris10ish amd and ati drivers doesnt cost money...

you download them through the website for the video cards

  • 1080p plz face

  • ati owns

  • Ok, I got the 9800GX2 as a reserve card, but if we're going to compare temps, NVIDIA looses sooo hard! My MSI 9800GX2 with artic silver paste becomes 100°C in Furmark Gpu test, no way that ATI would ever get that high :)

  • well.. the ati one costs 200 euros less now lol :P ATi is the best...

  • Ati even with lower fps, it seems that the chart does flow better, as if it were run better than the gtx 280

  • is the ati 5770 better than the 4870

  • @HeadlessHorseman1234 yes becouse of directx 11 buth the 4870 is 2-3 fps faster

  • @HeadlessHorseman1234 i have the ati radeon 4870. it is about 3-5 % faster than the 5770. but the 5770 is a newer card that uses less power, generates less heat and has DX11 and can display on 3 screens. so the 5770 is a better deal for the future, even though its more expensive than a current 4870. if you are on a budget get a 4870, you won't be dissapointed, otherwise get the 5770. if i were to upgrade for a new card, it would be for a 5870 or higher. forget NVIDIA cards.

  • @soureysen well up to date i wouldnt recommend to buy a 5770 (which is great for the price) but prefer a 6870 (successor of the 5770) ;) i bought mine for ~240€ and it delivers good performance =D

  • @soureysen Can I play the recent games like Metro2033 (and even the upcoming games) maxed out with 4870 ?

  • @houari2009 30-60 FPS depending on the resolution and your other hardware. If you haven't already got the card, consider a newer alternative.

  • @Keeehar Yeah, I haven't got the card yet, what do you recomment (considering a similaire budget)?

  • @houari2009 Hi. Depends on what sort of price we're talking about. If we go off of UK prices, you might be able to get a gtx 460 for a similar price from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte or MSI. Admittedly it may cost a little more, but not much. Saying that, I'm still using a 4870 and but for a few games it's going strong. Might also pay to wait - if the gtx 560 is released early this year, prices on the 460 may fall considerably. Let me know if you have any further questions.

  • @houari2009 it will also depend on your processor. i have a 3.7 Ghz core i3 CPU and my msi radeon r4870 is @ 775mhz core. i play most games except crysis maxed out on 1440*900 including AAx8. i must remove AA in crysis to be able to play it at 35+fps. the following games runs great on the 4870. call of duty games (180fps), race driver grid(100fps), nfs hotpursuit & shift (90 fps), hawx (80fps), gta 4 (50 fps), BFBC 2 (60fps), far cry 2 (50fps), F1 2010 (60 fps),

  • 9800 gx2 is really good. but my 470gtx is better ^^

  • i think ati is better i have geforce 8600 gt and have radeon hd 3650 before i think my old 3650 is better

  • @fsofnorway lol

the 8600gt is from a older generation than the 3650...

so your "older" 3650 actually is newer

  • @manel0319 i know 3650 its better and newer

  • ati ati ati ati ati yeeeah ati

  • GTX280 won!

  • @Chen6556 YES im buying ti it costs only 150 dollars and SLI :D maby that

  • I got like same fps as 9800gx2 with this setup

    C2D e6850 @3ghz

HD4890 OC'ed ed (black ed. XFX)

    3gb ddr2 800 Ram

What's my bottleneck? My gpu is best off all these four... Would it be my CPU? (which iosn't bad?)

What fps would I have with the Qx9650?

  • WTF??? 9800gx2 is like better then gtx280???

  • @climb2freak yeap much better

  • Moral of the story: None of these cards can run Crysis lol

  • I am a newbie when it comes to computers, but clearly, even a guy like me, clearly sees that ATI is better.

  • @IamDuhmb ur terribly wrong

nvidia is always better than ati becos it's much faster and reliable

BUT much more expensive than ati cards

  • THE VIDEO SINCE 2008 PIEOPLE

  • HD 4870 Pwned HarD :DD

  • i have a gtx 280 and a gtx 480 - 480 is the beast of all cards

  • meh, my gtx 460 beats them all :D

  • at GF GTX465 metro 2033 maxedout Dx11 Win7 64bit AMD Athlon 4x2,6GHz 4Gb ram i have min 27-90fps averge fps is 42 everything on max:D

but card is getting hotter hehee:P

  • 4870 Finish him!!

  • they all fail!

they all drop below optimum fps!

its funny because I get better fps on a single hd5770 and amd955@3.2ghz 1080p until I got to the ice level anyway then had I to bring the AA down

we won't mention the final boss lol

  • @RichieRemix Yea you're right they all dropped below 24 fps

  • 3 vs 1? That ain't a square match! lol

  • @serpent71 nvidia like it dirty ;)

  • @leanlifter are you sure ??? search on google crysis vs real life then talk :) i have metro 2033 and crysis, crysis warhead and both games are very good looking but metro is most of the time inside of a well a metro and crysis is in the tropico thats why crysis has so much more details

  • gtx 280!

  • só seu ter 4 zóiu pra ver certim :D

  • @nokillings

yes but not on "maximum settings"

  • The 9800 GTX is the worst financial decision I have ever made.

  • that was a good game in 1992 ... nowdays modern warfare 2 have better graphics

  • @MegaFoch are you fucking kidding me ? crysis is still the best good looking game the problem is that you pc cant handle crysis at very high

  • @frank141289 watch my videos , my pc can handle but i was just kiddin around

  • @frank141289 Mine could run Crysis at full settings before my card failed.

  • @MegaFoch wtf modern warfare 2 looks like shit . oh ohhhhh now i get you, you just want replies to make you feel special. well here you go,[hugs]

  • 280 GTX for the Win !!! Even now in 2010 that little fighter 1242MHz (2484MHz data rate) GDDR3 512-bit!!!

  • can you tell me plzz, when fps are many-is that good?

  • @MrEverybody6264 yes FPS is good , ( frames per second )

  • @MrEverybody6264 the more FPS the better, it means Frames Per Second (what your monitor is showing you)

35 FPS means that your monitor is showing 35 frames (images) per second which is alot

you don't need more than 35 for pc games because the human eye cannot see the difference

  • @LashByLash69 thx for info!

  • @LashByLash69

Actually the human eye can't see past 60 fps.

  • @LashByLash69 well how come mine see that 30 is laggy and 60 is fluid?

  • what would 2 geforce 9800 gt in sli equal to?? Thanks

  • can i play good fps on crysis on this specs:

    amd athlon II x2 @ 3.4Ghz

    4gb RAM

    19' LCD

    ati radeon 4870..

  • how would ati HD 5670 1GB GDDR5 do here???

  • @marfg12345 Badly.

  • @marfg12345 those are all mostly old cards so i think good, better than the ati anyways

  • thumbs up if you think microsoft should just make a new console and stop remaking the 360

  • the GTX280 has much more performance than ATI but ATi 4870 look's much better......The Display if you now wath i mean :)

  • Which one did the best i can't really tell?

  • gtx 280 pwns

  • @daniel192000 not for the price it doesnt. 4870, 100 bucks on compusa
