  • I'm just watching this because I just discovered your channel, but I had to smile when you said have you ever started something and wanted to stop. I know how that feels.....Styling natural hair is a long learning process. I just don't give up and I keep at it!! Enjoy your honesty as well as your channel!! Be Blessed

  • @KinkyNappyHappy Thanks so much for such kind words of encouragement!

I'm still pretty style-challenged, but I keep at it in the hopes that I'll gradually improve.

Thanks for checking out my video! :o)

  • LMAO at the JerryRigged Handle. Been There, Done That! HAHaaaa! WOW! Shocking Breakage Shot! Woooo!

  • @Zaharam2 LOL, those handles just don't last very long. With respect to the breakage, I had no business dry-detangling my hair like that. It did, however, point out a glaring problem. Since then, I have really beefed up my moisturizing, cleansing and conditioning regimen. I've noticed a significant difference also.

  • Your hair is getting longggggggggggg, no more dry detangling. Happy Sunday girl!

  • @Happee2bMe Hun, you don't have to tell me twice...I've definitely learned a valuable lesson here! :o)

  • How long did it take you? Wow mama, that's a lot of breakage. Do you know why your hair is breaking? Or is it just because you combed it dry? What are you using for protein since I have all of your Aphogee LOL.......danggggg after all that it reverted so quickly geee wiz.....sorry for all the questions :)

  • @blueottlisa Hey Lady! It took me like an hour and 30 mins. Yes, it is a lot of breakage, but I really do think it was because I was combing out a twist-out on dry hair without any type of preparation. What was I thinking?! I don't normally experience that type of breakage. I wore that side puff to work and that night (Friday) I did a heated pre-poo/oil treatment, shampooed, finger detangled and deep conditioned.

  • @brownshuga24 The whole process took me a lot longer than it normally does, but it was worth it. It's about time I started paying closer attention to proper detangling. I have short pieces all throughout my hair, but I'm going to get it back on track! :o)
