  • The problem with WP is that there is only one windows phone for each of the major CDMA carriers (Verizon and Sprint). The reason I like Android over iOS is the choice and different options. If there is only one option for my carrier, why I would I choose it over the dozens of android devices?

  • pause it on 4:08

  • if WP ever goes open source, ill consider....

  • i love my radar the battery life is super long and it just works. i was tired of hang ups and slowdowns with andriod. gps on my htc radar is way better then samsung galaxy i had

  • I personally love the full customization experience on Android and I realize that we're behind when it comes to popular apps on the Market, so I don't think I can switch to Windows Phone until it develops more in just about everything.

  • @xboxmodder02 three points. 1. You rant about Microsoft however you have xboxmodder in your usernamen. Windows mobile/has been around much longer than android 3. To be quite honest windows phone better than android when windows phone was terrible before the windows phone 7 updates

  • @xboxmodder 3 points

  • lol you should have waited because the titan 2 was annouced like a couple weeks after this video.

  • @richban100 I get the impression you've never used a Windows Phone, as What's New just displays what's new in chronological order from all social networks, not prioritized. As for the orange squares, there are 2 for my contacts: close friends and close family. There is no such thing as a welcome screen in iOS or WP&, so I'm afriad I have no idea what you're talking about, and that you have further reinfored the fact that you're arguing with no facts to back you up.

  • @anthyman1 I guess it would work if you had a small network... I am only working off the information that you gave me. Sorry I think differently..

  • Apple r the only smart phones i will use

  • I AGREE... THE WINDOWS PHONE IS AWESOME!!!! I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T GET AN IPHONE... MY WIFE TRIED TO TALK ME INTO GETTING AN IPHONE, BUT BEING THAT I WAS NEVER IMPRESSED BY IOS, AND THAT I'M A HARDCORE BUSINESS USER, I STUCK IT OUT UNTIL THE TITAN CAME OUT... EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY DECISION! IPHONE WHAT???

  • the windows phone s awesome! now, only if i could afford one...

  • WINDOWS PHONE IS AWESOME.

  • Calls iphone boring, and switches to windows phone. Not an android phone that lets you do anything to the phone. #noob

  • I am glad you like window, I will never use a window phone.

  • FUCK WINDOWS PHONE.FUCK MICROSOFT.ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS DOMINATE THE WORLD WITH THEIR CRAP AND OWN EVERYTHING INTERNET , COMPUTER , GAMING AND TECH RELATED.

THEY ONLY ENTERED THE SMARTPHONE AND CONSOLE MARKETS AS A WAY OF PUSHING THEIR SHIT INTO MORE PEOPLE'S FACES.

AS IF THIS SHIT COMPANY HASN'T TAKEN ENOUGH OF OUR CASH ALREADY.

    ANDROID AND OPEN SOURCE FTW

  • @xboxmodder02

Chill out. Most people don't even care about the open-source aspect of Android. And WP7 is fucking solid. I have a Galaxy S2 and while I think it's the best phone out right now, I think anyone saying WP7 isn't a good phone is entirely fucking stupid. It's solid. It's good. You don't need a shitload of specs for smooth performance like Android does.

Oh, and btw, Who gives a fuck if it's Microsoft?

  • Love my Lumia 710,, try it people,, you will love it, like we do!

  • 434 people bought iphone 4s and now are busting their head against the keyboard

  • I love my Lumia 800! <3

  • When people in the comments think 'zune' is new. Its been out for years. I had the mp3 player.

  • Personnally I prefer the Lumia 800. However you are right. The Windows OS is completelly different from IOS and Android. The design is great, its very intuitive and the apps market is growing really fast.

  • Best part of windows phone is Zune. It's just infinitely better than itunes! If only they made it compatible with android :(

  • Never tried Windows phones yet. I just recently switched to iPhone 4s from Android and so far I do not miss it. I can see Android getting better but as of now the iPhone is f***ing awesome.

  • GigaRAM. lol.

  • when i saw the title i thought he must of had an iPhone or blackberry

  • how about Nokia Lumia 800

  • So you switched to WP7 because Microsoft paid you... So what?

You didn't choose it because its the best you did that because of the money which make you a bit**

  • @Q8cavalry

    Six kiss?

  • I dont have a smartphone, but my top choice would be iPhone or windows. Is that the best windows phone? Can i get s good one for less than the iPhone?

  • over 400 people died rage clicking the dislike button :)

  • i love those bladeless fans so much (like the one you have in the backround)

  • I have gone through all types and makes of phone, and to this day I am confused which one to like and settle with.

  • you made the right choice dude lol, wp7 may not be the best but the iphone doesnt have it all either.. ;)

  • @anthyman1 *compatability

  • "iOS is the best choice for a lot of people." A great way of saying that most people are too stupid and can't use anything but iPhones.

  • @LarryNanner Too stupid? LOL! using an android phone is not rocket science dude.

  • @shahz54 you must have never used another phone. Safari kills IE in every way and the iOS keyboard destroys the windows phone keyboard.

  • @lrossi888

Actually, I have both a WP and an iPod touch, and you're wrong. If anything, IE has better compatibility and is just as fast as Safari. The keyboard is less precise, but the auto-correct is so much better that it more than makes up for the occasional missed key.

  • I will pray for you.

  • WP FTW

  • Comment removed

  • Wait 4 The iPhone 5..

  • Oh my god why do you blink so much!?!?

  • @majidahmed14 tired?

  • im not at hater... but you refer to your bad eyesight due to the lower resolution but you are stating this while your camera focus is locked onto your desk in the background and not on you.... its messing with my eyes....

  • I've had the Samsung Focus a windows phone since June of 2011 and I love it to this day.... Only thing I want from ios is..... Siri........

  • @TheNoizmaker s..t Siri ...dude it's only memo words

  • "gear wise" is that what you kids call it these days lol

  • Dear god, I hate Windows Phone 7. So much.

I use it every day and loooaaathhhh it. The keyboard is horrid. Apps are hideous and IE suuuuucks. Why not stay with Android if you're bored with iOS?

    I do not comprehend.

  • @lrossi888 uhm, probably teh best virtual keyboard out there, dunno what ur talkin about, IE renders pages much better than Safari

  • LAKERS SUCK JUST LIKE THE WINDOWS PHONE.

EAT COCKY AND CHOKE ON AN IPHONE.

    DROID RULES

  • waiting for the lumia 900. or its equivalent, in europe

  • I can't stand the new windows UI. It's so ugly and plane

  • @Lomns please don tell me ur an iOS user...

  • 420 dislikes.... time to smoke

  • I had a HTC WP7 Mozart and I got to say that I did love it, and someone else did too because it got stolen at work :(

  • I had a "state of the art" windows phone 1 year ago - HTC HD2 running windows 6.5. To my dismay, I found out that 6.5 was no longer supported. It was poorly supported at best anyway. Phone had a lot of problems... I had Android installed on same phone. It now runs perfectly. HTC makes good phones but Windows operating systems leave much to be desired. I would not advise getting a phone with the new Windows. Too many great choices out there.

  • Nice look with the glasses btw... I know it's completely gay!

  • U Mad Bro?

  • my problem with windows phone is that it has such a little amount of games. and the games available normally look a little crappy.. the moment that changes, i immediately switch to wp7 or when it's out wp8..

  • Confucious say: he ( or she: ) who invents a better and less expensive battery/power-pack energy subsystem, that is also cleaner to the enviroment will make big moolah in future.

--Imagine having only to charge your mobile, slate, or netbook only once a month..lulz,..which is about a loing as my old tiny Nokia monochrome LED screen mobile will last..come to think of it. --

  • i think the interface is stupid. whys you need huge ass icons, its gonna be hard to find your apps that you need to get at... also why does .3 of a inch makes a difference? sooo does it better distribute radiation..

  • @richban100 swipe to the right.... and find it there or click the search and go to the letter... SO HARD !! Iphone = million of little icons that don't tell you anything. In WP the icons show u what is happening inside the app.

  • @manpaisa92 it seems inconvenient where in iOS you can organize in a folder and find it easily. I have like 6 folders, classified as games, work, entertainment, tools, photos & videos, social.. takes me like 3 seconds to find what I want when I want. Also there are notifications that tell you what is happening in the app just swipe down on the screen =.=..

  • @richban100 The swipe down feature is brand new in iPhones .... it's been in android for quite some times now.

  • @RompeRico different discussion.. it's about how Microsoft stole away one of my summer vacations in grade 10 with their 60% hardware failure rate

  • @richban100 OH and btw Microsoft doesn't make hardware just a BTW. You bought a crappy PC that probably cost you 300 dollars and you complain. You get what you pay for.

  • @manpaisa92 i was talking about an xbox you dolt..

  • @richban100 Do the notifications tell u what is the temp ? the progress of your flight/etc ? No, I had an Iphone before i swtiched to Windows Phone, IOS is cute but WP7.5 is superior in every way except the amount of apps. The Metro style is fluid and it takes A LOT less time to do anything in a WP than IOS just look at - "Smoked by a Windows Phone" and you will see.

  • @manpaisa92 yes it does actually.. it depends on the apps and the notification setting that you have for that app. That video shows nothing other than processing power. It has nothing to do with the usability. People aren't going to notice 3 more seconds for a photo upload unless they want to race everybody's phone and show why they don't have a girlfriend.

  • @richban100

You do realize that WP7 has the games, office, music+video, photos, and people hubs, which UNIFY all the features of the plethera of apps you have on your iPhone in one place. As for the others, I have a Windows Phone, and I can find any app on my phone in just about 3 seconds, as they're all neatly alphabitized on a sort of 'all programs' screen

  • @anthyman1 One place as in another app, with more pages than a new york phone book.. I don't know how you call it unified... okay so 3 seconds for about two apps per class okay maybe 5 apps per classification..

you used "plethera".. =.= aren't you a little too classy for the interweb

  • @richban100 No, not another app, a HUB. For example, if I go the the People Hub, I get three pages: All contacts (from any social network I may use, my email account, andanything I put in), recent contacts, and a news feed that displays updates form every social network I use (yes, you can narrow the field if you don't want to see all of them). It IS unified, and there are no apps within Hubs.

Pelthera is a misspelling (oops) of plethora; an excess of

  • Comment removed

  • @richban100 The 'What's New' page is no longer than your normal News Feed would be. The contacts page is quite long, which is why I made a group of contacts for the people that 80% of the interaction on my phone is with, and pinned it to my start screen. It's a nice feature, you should try--- oh wait, iOS cannot make contact groups. Tough luck. The rest can be found in a contacts search or by entering the first letter of their name to take you to that part of the contact page.

  • Comment removed

  • @richban100 lol at the distribution of radiation. what phone do u have. and im actually getting a phone tomorrow. was wondering ur opinion: windows or iphone?

  • @GamingFIENDS Anything other than a windows phone.. there are no benefits to it.. nothing that we have seen before. there are so few apps and start ups are not going to be developing for it since its such a small market.

  • Comment removed

  • damn now i wanted to try one hehehe.

  • way too limited for me. I do alot of business stuff on my phone like invoices and what not I could not find an app for that like android

  • Comment removed

  • Windows* :p

  • I am a windows guy with an iPhone. Total win.

  • You blink alot.

  • For me windows phone killed it, not a fan of the panel UI, Used Windows since 2003/WM5/WM6. Moved to android 2.3 and now rocking 4.0.3 on Desire HD :)

Lets hope they decide against combining Windows 8 and its Metro UI.. or at least have an option to disable it altogether. Otherwise I'd be sticking with 7 for another while yet :)

  • @DavidTiger1

You just sound like a hater all around. Anyone who mentions using Windows "since 2003/WM5/WM6" as a reason not to ever own a Windows Phone, let alone like it, clearly screams "I'VE NEVER BOTHERED TO EVEN USE ONE!".

This is an entirely new platform that blends ecosystems of Xbox, Windows PCs, and soon Windows 8 tablets. It's lightning fast regardless of the hardware, isn't fragmented, has great developer tools and doesn't solely depend on apps to deliver a great user experience.

  • @H4Hamburger I have used WP7, all android versions and iOS. My personal fav being Android but they all have their pro's and con's to them....

Xbox and tablets I can see the ease of use coming in to play, Even with phones but for those people who do like it...

As I said I was "not a fan of the panel UI" which means *I* do not like it. Whether you or anyone else likes it.

As for it in Windows PC's I just hope it becomes optional because being forced to have it just doesn't appeal to me.

  • I used a Samsung Focus for about 9 weeks and finally gave it up due to the limited apps. Having said that, I have certain apps that I used daily and these apps are very specific. For most people Windows 7 Phone would make a great phone.

  • @lamewing i hope you don't mean you had used it nine weeks from November 2010.

  • I've used Android and Windows phones in the past and I found them slow. Since upgrading to an iPhone 4S I have not looked back. Can't stand anything else.

  • Never go to android ! iOS and Windows Phone are all you need

  • @Macfanize android is the best then iOS then windows

  • @nickdonley Android is far too fragmented and doesn't give the user the experience google wanted him to have. Of course there are many devices with very different performance and there is a phone that comes more or less directly from google, but when you pick up an iPhone or a WP you know exactly what kind of experience you'll get.Besides, these two OS weren't anything like another one when they were made. But then Android came along, quite blatantly cloned iOS and made a few modifications and..

  • @nickdonley 1st better not best

2nd I disagree, iOS has more apps, its easier to use, etc, etc.

3rd its your opinion, dont put your opinion as an answer to anyone

  • @Petrucho2011

1st if i were to say "android is the better" would that make much sense?

2nd i disagree, the only way an iphone would be good if it were jail broken

3rd there is nothing wrong with replying with an opinion

  • @Petrucho2011

'Etc, etc.' Is not a reason. That sort of gives me the feeling that you're saying it's better because you don't have a clue of what it's competition is like.

  • think you mean downgrading not switching

  • Dyson Fan

  • windows phone is missing a lot of stuff...mainly cuz its on a really outdated scorpion chip...seriously they need to bring it to high power hardware..the UI is undoubtly the best out there..but the price is not worth the hardware they offer..also i love games which is the best point about iOS IMO..the day WP7.5 gets decent quality games like shadowgun and mc3..i'll switch instantly..even i am bored of a 3.5 inch screen and an old UI..android is good but idk it doesnt appeal to me that much :(

  • Clearly you know what you're talking about (Y)

  • 4:06 looool

  • @no1up Problem with the Focus and the SD cards is that people forget you need to put the card in BEFORE you ever start the phone the first time.

  • I've been using WP7 as an emulator before the phones came out (NoDo) as I have been making Apps under my brand and for others, we even offer bloggers a FREE WP7 App for their sites if they follow us on Twitter (@compulsivetech or @LanceSeidman) but check my latest App, Speechy Pro as it now has OCR Translate & verbal translate.

  • this guys a queer

  • fucking hated the tilt 2. had it for a day. Hated it.

  • Bladeless fan, cool :)

  • how much microsoft paid you ? lol

  • @TooMuchForIt

how much did Google or Apple paid you to write this comment?

  • Try Nokia phones= nokia maps is superior & built-in, doesnt need internet connection.

  • I read the focus has problems with MicroSD cards. I bought one anyway do, we will see... NEVER EVER EVER thought I would use a windows phone, I'm an apple/android guy, but after really playing with it with an open mind, I find the windows phone 7 has a lot to offer. I really like the UI.

  • its funny cause ur using the galaxy note now....

  • im a mac with a macPhone

  • windows7 mobile no adobe flash.

  • windows phone 7 is already my favorite os. when a nokia windows phone 8 comes out. omfmgmlkasgjdlsakdgjlskgdn!

  • I got a chance to play with a windows phone, I have a GS2... I LOVE the UI of the wp7. I am just waiting for a phone that has a MicroSD, Super omoled screen, and a fantastic camera. Any word on when this will happen?

  • @no1up It's reported that the Apollo update should/will bring support for memmory cards :D.

  • @no1up Yeah Its called the Samsung Focus for WP7

  • @no1up Samsung focus .

  • Look at the $300 dollar fan :)

  • SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS. Sorry.

  • windows is great but the iphone still kicks this phones ass

  • @TheNachosguy No it doesn't

  • @TheNachosguy Not really.

  • Well, yeah, there's nothing to hate about WP7!

  • @AJFedora I hate the preconceived Idea that everyone who wants games, wants xbox live.

  • You know, I love my iPhone but I think that Windows Phone 7 is a really pretty, well-designed mobile operating system that I, now that I've seen it more often, find better than Android.

  • the phone looks great, but you forgot to show where are the Ctrl + Alt + Del buttons :D

    cheers!

  • Woohoo! LG Quantum...... sucks. I like windows phone but I need to upgrade to maybe nokia lumia or htc titan

  • Sounds cool but i still prefer iPhone 4S

  • I have both Nokia Lumia 800 and iPhone 4S. With Windows you can't: AirPrint, use Kindle (if you are in certain countries), use Nokia music (unless you live in the "selected" countries by Nokia), you don't have a fully functional PDF reader (Adobe reader does not even allow you to search in document), can't search inside web page. These are important tasks for me, so I mainly still use my iPhone. I like my Nokia as well, but...well...not quite there yet with apps.

  • I like Windows phone but the iPhone is enough for me and I hate big screened phones. Also I've invested way too much in my iPhone apps and peripherals to make a switch so sudden. Ive just started enjoying my jailbroken iOS 5 iPhone and I'm not switching anytime soon.

  • i think u look more handsome with the spec XD

  • lumia 900 please make love to verizon so i can get a windows phone

  • 0:07 Techno Buffalo year?

  • Bing is the best. i'd never use google if I had a windows phone. Excellent size screen.

  • 480x100?!?! That MUST be a mistake.

  • @Synicade 480 x 800 like he said in the video.

  • @Synicade He said 800.

  • Too much bla bla!

  • You don't like Bing???? Seriously???

  • windows phones they are way behind on technology that why i getting samsung galaxy s2 titanium best phone out there super fast.

  • @MrTuberize so you really think the s2 faster than the gn?

  • @Legobricks009 yea faster and its got front camera so i can use skype video windows phone dont have that

  • @MrTuberize

You don't know nothing. Windows Phone 7 is ahead in technology, it doesn't need any fancy hardware to be fast. Trust me, my brother has the Galaxy S2 and it's very easy to get it jammed, even though it has good specs.

Also it's not the best phone, good but not best.

  • @th4970 if windows phone had front camera for skype video i would buy it. I use skype video allot, they made allot of windows phones they left out front camera sucks.

  • @MrTuberize The newer phones DO have front cameras, and Skype is coming very soon.

  • Loved my Windows Phone before I broke it. Never got a new one though.

  • since when is 450 x 800 low resolution for a cell phone? if you want higher stick a tablet in your pocket

  • im a mac guy with a windows phone too! :)

  • @clospineda90 Im a pc with an iphone lol

  • i thought you were switching to pc at first

  • WP7 is hella good

  • kinda regret not getting the lumia 800 over the 4s

  • @samshrew12 They released it just a month too late for many

  • @samshrew12 i like 4S better. You made the right choice.

  • @samshrew12 agreed

  • @samshrew12 lumia 800 is good but not worth the money..really outdated hardware and a single core for 600$ really?? 4S is an awesome phone but the only downside i feel is the small screen..compared to 800 and 4s...4s wins for me hands down...u made the right choice

  • @vaibhav402

    good is opinion
