@IAteYourWafflesOwO Nobody pulled it. A friend of mine who was there with me did some investigative snooping and discovered that it was a grease fire.
@damm416: I was impressed with how fast the evacuation went. The only problem was that Baltimore was completely unprepared for the rush of 29.000 Otaku being herded onto it's streets. There was no place for us to go at times and Staffers were pushing us away from the building. I exited out the Charles street exit under the overpass and there was no place for us to go except in the street. Which of course we got yelled at for doing that. >.<
there was and still a line of staff members, guests, dealer room sales people and otakon attendees who wants to murder whoever pulled the alarm. -_- someone who saw the person said they didn't have a badge so most likely a crasher. But ya its past otakon so they arnt gonna get caught
@alchemistofsins You can pretty guess that 29,916 other people want to murder whoever pulled the fire alarm. In the end, Otakon staff have said it was a non-emergency activation. If whoever did it was caught, you can pretty much guarantee he or she won't be back at Otakon ever again.
Ohoho~ i came this past year so i JUST missed this! >:D

D: Oh man, that really sucks.
Kinda surprises me every time I see the massive crowds at a con...
I think the person who had pulled it would not have lived to see the next day if they'd been caught by the con-goers there...

This incedent really gave a bad impression for the first comers. They may not want to return, or maybe they do. I was concerned for the dealers.

I WAS IN THE HETALIA PREMIERE TOO!
Asshat pulls fire alarm. Chaos ensues. Now all someone needs to do is figure out a way to profit from this and it'd be perfect!
