Jeff Healey is a legand, but was sadly under recognised. This is an awsome tribute, well done for making the effort to remember him, you playing is outstanding!
i feel the same as you wen i hear jeff or gary moore put all that power and emotion into the amp and it sends shivers down my back. how much much practise do ou do
Great playing man! Jeff was one of my favorites too, I saw him in 1990 and he just blew my mind!!! What a loss. I played "See The Light" at an open mic the week that he died. I'm glad that you are helping to keep his memory alive.
Sam, I am ashamed to say that I never really listened to Jeff and didn't really know his stuff. Then I watched his Roadhouse Blues video and I thought this guy is amazing. Then I saw his cover of "while my guitar gently weeps" and was just blown away. Wow, he was truly amazing and you know he was meant to play guitar because you can just feel the soul in every one of his notes.
5 stars! U ROCK, kid! i was already VERY impressed, then checked out a couple of yr other vids. The classical guitar got me. I've subscribed. ROCK ON! :)
Hey did you get a chance to meet him b4 he passed? As a Canadian gal I was/am so proud of his accomplishments....I wish you well friend...like I say YOU ROCK!
this ones actually going straight into the muti effects in a boss 12 track and out via my hifi speakers. i think the key to a good tone is a les paul haha. cheers dude, rock on
"Absoooooolutely, fuckiiiiiiiin incredible! Thank you for the JH Tribute!!!!" ..... you ROCK big time!!!!!! We hopoe to see you on stage some time soon!!!!!!
hey dude, good to hear from you again. i think a joe bonamassa tutorial might be a bit out of my league, the mans technique and feel terrorfys me haha! maybe i'll have a bash at it as ive been working on trying to incorperate some of his licks into my own style. thanks for the idea man
i had a very strange feeling about Jeff for about 3 months before he died. He kept popping into my head, i guess the angels were letting me know what was about to happen. If i had know he was as sick as he was, i would have asked his wife if i could visit. Jeff, i'll see ya when i get there.
yeah man thats quite strange! i got 'see the light' for christmas and it didnt leave my CD player for a good few months. i realy love his string bends and vibrato!
Everythings cool man!! Ill be on over the weekend a bit if you're about.. just stopped by for another listen!! haha The lickage man!!!! its so fast, but tasteful with the sick ass vibrato!! And those nailbombs are the fucking shit!!! :D I very badly need a set of them soon!!
still havent caught you online haha, mind i hardly go on msn these days. might be coming down london soon. we need to get a jam its at least 2 years overdue! i just found out theres a train service thats £10 return! thats cheaper than kirk hammets perm
Cant you do a tutorial on how you do the shredding parts at around 0.40min? You do it on some other parts of the song.

Yo Sam,
This rocks. I learn so much from watching your videos, especially the tutorials.
Love to see you do a Joe Bonamassa tutorial.
Hey man, I realize that 75% of playing is feel and the other 25% is technique!
You were definitely feeling it here!
