  • Is this on iTunes? What do I look up?

  • @TheXboxer100 You don't. You look up YouTube to MP3 Converter and just insert the URL and BAM! Easy free song.

  • listening to this song is a better anti-depressant than the drug

  • This song slightly makes me think of a Silent Hill game, just slightly.... A sad moment, or especially when your running through a creepy town in the fog....

Especially from 0:20 to 1:05, if this song was a little more depressing it would be a perfect soundtrack.

  • is this on itunes?

  • Does anyone know if this song is on itunes?

  • damn, I cant believe so many people like this song. It is great though. The commercial with the while lady is the best. She stares down the wind up doll!! lol I LOVE this tune

  • nope still a depressing A** song for a depressing A** commercial everytime I hear this song I feel like I failed......

  • 5 people are still depressed

  • I LOVE IT-I'M PLAYING IT WITH MY BAND!!

  • Relaxing !

  • Why was this song put to a depression commercial? This song could have been used for something SO much better. I felt like a dork looking this up but this composition is SICK.

  • @AarenCreed Personally, I like that it was used for a depression commercial because it was perfectly used to show that things can get better even if you don't think things will. Plus, a lot of people were able to hear it since it was used in a nation-wide commercial.

  • Upbeat music

  • I won't lie, I felt pretty lame looking up the background music to a commercial, but then I saw all these other people. And I realize, the music is really as good as I think. Cool beans.

  • 5 ppl had to take the phil......

  • I Love this song, whatever it is.. Just love it...

  • Nice piece of music! Heard it last night and did a search here. Is there ANYTHING you can't find on YouTube?!!!

  • sounds like Used to Love You by John Legend.

  • @mynamesucks44 lol a little bit

  • @psymaster1234... that might mean you need the med... just saying.. lol im joking

  • This composition is so beautiful. Love to watch the commercial and listen to the music although I do not take the meds. Great job and thanks for posting.

  • Is it normal just to break down in tears during dinner time after hearing this?

  • I always feel far in europe evrytime I hear that song in the commercial... Why the world can't be a sweeter place ?

  • Another of my wifes favorite songs..mine also !

  • I remember listening to this on the morning of the first day of 8th grade, a lot has been different since then..

  • the first time i heard this i thought it sounded like a slow version of billy joel's we didn't start the fire

  • I was depressed until I heard this song. Prestiq really works.

  • Duh - duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh !

  • Amen!!!! I totally agree.

  • This song was written by Gregg Fine for Hidden Tiger Productions. It was written specifically for Pristiq. I was going through a particularly difficult period in my life when I first saw the commercial and heard the song. The song immediately struck me and I found it for free download on the Pristiq website. I'm over that period now and my life is wonderful once again. I just love the mellowness and compositional beauty of this song. Thanks Pristiq! Umm... for the song. Didn't need the meds.

  • i want to play this on my piano

  • this is beautiful

  • Also we may not take into account the psychological process that are involved when we remember things asociated with sounds. Emotions, differing musical tastes and experiences, and so many other things can affect how we percieve music.

And come on, even children know that everyone sees something different when you look at clouds. I see a rabbit, and i think of chocolate while certain babies might start crying. The point is, although we may sense the same things, we perceive them differently.

  • When I'm not watching sitcoms and adult swim, I'll read all your comments and see where this argument started.

In the mean time, most of you are probably idiots. Especially the ones who isntantly apply that insult to themselves and gets mad ;). There are probably infinite numbers of reasons things sound different to people; understand different people hear higher frequencies (young ones mostly).

  • I love the music, but it makes me sad.

  • @chefgreg2010 My friend y would this song make u feel sad when it actually should make u feel hope just like the meds suppose to do for ppl who r affected by depression

  • @mike22302, perhaps the better thing for "laypersons" to say is: "this song reminds me of that song." I try to say that usually because it shows that I take responsibility for how a song *sounds* to me instead of arguing about how a song *objectively* sounds. Even though you think I don't know music (I don't have a music degree, but I appreciate music and I'm not dull-minded), I do recognize that all songs technically have similarities to each other anyway because it's all music. Good day.

  • @QueenAnime, you're simply deluded. I have degrees in music, and the similarities don't pass the scale level. Sorry, you just don't know music. Besides, why compare a beautiful quiet piece with a schizoid pot-boiler song from a lazy composer like Joel.

  • @mike22302 Perhaps "laypersons" see similarities b/w the songs while the more musically-inclined don't. (The noticeable parts: the little xylophone-type sound in this song and the beginning of the hook of "WDSTF") At the same time, saying "I have music degrees, so you're wrong" is not a very good argument. And it's rather uncouth to call me "deluded" and make assumptions simply b/c you disagree with me. I respect your opinions, but neither song is more *objectively* beautiful. Good day.

  • Really like the full version of this. It's the perfect uplifting muzak/background song, and the part from 1:06 to 1:35 reminds me of some of those old instrumental records.

  • @vmwaretips Not even close, you surely have NO EAR for music.

  • @mike22302 Yes, this person doesn't have an ear for music and yet there are others who have posted who have noticed the same similarities. I'm sorry, but if you can't see any similarities between this and "We Didn't Start The Fire," you are either not familiar with that pop song or you don't have an ear for music yourself.

  • I just realized what this reminds me of: "The Sims" music!

  • OMG! Thank you so much for uploading the full version of this song! I didn't even know there was a full version of the song. It's the perfect "Things will get better" theme.

  • Send to: Publicuseonly@optonline

  • I was so depressed because I couldn't find where this music came from after I heard the commercial.

Greg Fine the greatest music producer band performer of all time.

  • im glad im not the only one who thought this was sicq

  • This song is the sh1t" cool

  • if you think about it ..."We did'nt start the fire" is saying "Its not your fault you have a depression dis-order"..... this jam rocks

  • @unitron i was thinking how no one caught that before it went to air

  • Still love this song! I agree with will9601...just listen to the music.

  • I wanna fly away

  • Picture this...standing on a crag overlooking the ocean, it's late spring, you're watching the waves roll in, you're listening to this song....you're transported over the rainbow...what a time to win the mega-mlillions jackpot ! Enjoy it well, amigo !

  • I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this sounds like "We didnt start the fire"!!

  • This reminds me of sitting behind a window sill while staring at the rain and hearing my cat purr

  • for some reason, this makes me think of two middle aged lesbians having sex. that is all.

  • @aguilaverde I can totally see that LOL!!

  • This song makes me long for summer right now, so I can play this song and just go for a drive around NJ on a sunny Saturday afternoon. I will have the sunroof open, and just try and put the past behind me.

Whoever wrote this song did an excellent job.

  • @coolwafferman Written by Greg Fine

  • @jennie18sp You might want to see a therapist if you aren't seeing one already. I don't know your age, but you can look into "quarter life crisis" which is what I am experiencing. (I'm in a rut because I don't know what to do with my life, I'm starting to face my mortality, and I'm starting to see the world for what it is) Try to set simple goals/plans, eat healthier & make sure to get enough/consistent sleep. If you ever want to talk, feel free to PM me. I'll be all ears and I will not judge.

  • 123 likes lol woot

  • This is an incredibly simple song to play. The main chords are C maj, G maj, B min, and D Maj. The melody is very simple and easy to figure out.

  • I thought Craig Armstrong did this song - but apparently it was done by Gregg Fine. Great song! It's amazing how when I was a kid/teen in the 70's and 80's we learned about new music from AM/FM radio, and at record stores. Now, it's YouTube, MySpace, iTunes, and TV commercials! So....Madison Ave dictates future stars - I guess things haven't changed that much..

  • you dont need pristiq if you listen to thiks its freakin awesome

  • We love this song...

  • At "The Egg" performing arts center in Albany, New York, I saw a May 28th performance by the Da-Guan Dance Theater - "Memories Of Taiwan The Taiwanese American Cultural Society of the Capital District" - that I swear used this music! Amazing performance by the dancers, and perfect music for a modern dance celebrating the culture of Taiwan and Mainland China. Small world. - Larry (Clifton Park, New York)

    man in the forest theme?

  • Wish I could download to ipod. Great music!

  • @MurphyArgo

yes it is great, please help me pray for the depressed globally

  • This was brilliant! Whoever thought to make peaceful sounding music in a time when the world is lacking peaceful sounding music in their commercials. Just Brilliance! Some marketing executive was doing his/her job exceptionally well. They thought let's put some good commercial music like they did in the 1980s. I'm sold. They got me for sure! LOL I love this tune. Classic already.

  • @Boogers4dinner

you are so right but those suffering with depression globally, never have peace not even when listening to this song. help me pray for people suffering with depression globally.

  • can someone tell me who is the autor if this beautiful musical piece....I been trying to get some info about it.

  • im pretty sure its the song "we didnt start the fire " by billy joel

  • Unfortunately, I can't enjoy this because the commercial is so fucking stupid that I always think about it when I hear this song.

  • @mikeellerbeck The music is very well done I agree. The wind-up doll and the womans facial expression are kind of funny, which is a flaw that obviously gives the commercial some negative stigma. In general I think the commercial is well done, but like I posted on another video, some of the flaws of the commercial give mental illness a negative stigma.

  • Nice song, sounds like 80s pop.

  • WE didnt start the fire! It was always burnin since the world's been turnin.....(that's what I hear in this song)

  • 1:08-1:35 nice little interlude type thing. Lol. Dope as hell.

  • The music is quite soothing and relaxing and most befitting to this advertisement...

  • I bet Kanye is going to do a remix.

    Lol.

  • Beautiful song it makes me feel free and worry free I would also like 2 buy this song

  • @kisses4bullets I totally agree. I want to know how to upload it into my iTunes so I can upload it into my iPod. Any clue as to how to do this?

  • @CHIMNEYSWEEPFLORIDA ,gregg fine is the writer of the song, you can contact him
