yeah the fight at eskrima is not scripted it is real that how you should fight it it's like a dance you have to finish your opponent with a small number of blow as much as possible.
To all those who think that eskrima was more of an act than an actual fight:
Both players are actually trying to attack one another, but as soon as a "deadly blow" is initiated, the one attacking dramatically slows his speed so the other can counter. Points are based on the number of times this happens and there are three Masters judging to see whether or not a counter was due to skill or because the other had to slow down.
@gecko8553 it's because those guys were smarter... they most likely trained in something else and they're probably from a kung fu background... they've eliminated what of kung fu that wasn't useful and kept only what was... which is surprisingly not that much.

but in a straight up grapple match against judo BJJ wrestling loses
@Proudtobefilipino033 actually try wrestling before you talk shit about it, it's not like the WWE shit, alot of the moves will put you in extreme amounts of pain you just don't see them as much because you get more points for a pin
