Did Bob Dylan write this song in reference to the Rolling Stone's band or did write it in reference to something else like the magazine?

Pretty cool that the Rolling Stones did it, but of course, they kinda had to do it.

Bob Dylan's lyrics are just amazing. He used to write about all sorts of things back in the day, Go listen to Hurricane or something, and just listen to the lryics, my teacher told me he used to claim to not be influenced by anything.. and that he was just writing music. But he sung things that needed to be said , but no one wanted to say it. Bob Dylan is one of my heros, and Bob Dylan is an amazing artist..

@yogurt123 the rolling stones were from 1962, this song came out in 1965, they were named after the muddy waters song.
