In 2006, Israel wasn't planning a war. Israel was peaceful toward Lebanon. Meanwhile, Nasrallah was planning an attack. Hezbollah -- not Israel -- was the aggressor.

Israel isn't interested in attacking Lebanon or fighting with Hezbollah. But in 2006, Hezbollah started a war by raiding across Israel's border. Israel responded to an attack. Israel didn't pick a fight.
If Hezbollah wants peace, it should act peacefully. It should stop staging attacks which lead to war, death and destruction.
Hezbollah has no good reason to keep attacking Israel. But apparently, Nasrallah can't stand peace. He's always looking for an excuse to start trouble.
