  • Honestly, when I hear people say religion produces hate and intolerance, I ask them to watch this documentary. If only Father Judge were still alive today, he could look Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, and Hitchens in the face and say: Really?

  • THIS GUY is a TRUE CHRISTIAN, not like that asshole Fred Phelps who claims they "love" everybody.

  • Saint Michael the Archangel,

    defend us in battle.

Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

    May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;

and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -

by the Divine Power of God -

cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,

who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

    Amen.

    NEVER FORGET SEPT 11

  • was he a fireman or just a prist getting in the way of firemen doing their job

  • My Prayers with His Family and Friends.

    Vaya con Dios Padre.

  • What an absolutely AMAZING man!! I love that he stood for everything love should be. He didn't care about race or sexual orientation. He makes me proud to be Irish (part) & Catholic. We need many more people like him in the world. I obviously have shed many tears over what happend on 9/11 & the loss of so many innocent lives but I have to say, Father Mychal is the only individual person I cried over. Father Mychal, pray for us! Peace & Love to EVERY single person walkig the face of this Earth!

  • There are two famous photos I recall that show Father Judge in Life and Death:

In Life, Father Mychal is standing on the shoreline at Smith Point Park in Shirley, Long Island looking at the Ocean praying for the victims of TWA Flight 800.

In Death, Father Mychal being carried away from the Twin Towers Collapse by FDNY, NYPD, EMT and a Civilian.

Yes, he loved Life, the FDNY, his Church and all that is good in Life. Rest in Peace Father Mychal and as we near the tenth anniversary of the 9/11/2

  • Does anybody know where I can get / watch this movie? I will be leaving next week to NY, planning to visit his church... Please help me! I have to see this documentary

  • I hope they say he was gay

  • @amatorynumber they do.

  • Oh that's SO touching! I never heard about this movie. He seemed like such a sweet man.

  • Does anybody know where I can find this movie? I really want to see it. But it's so hard to find

  • @wiliamdejager I just watched it from netflix, really enjoyed it

  • @wiliamdejager hulu i think

  • Makes me cry watching this. What a beautiful man, it makes me fell happy that there are such special people still amongst us in today's world.

  • "Many were the glorious deeds of

Micheal the Archangel, who, in valiant in warfare, won the victory"

    -Psalm 98

  • “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels” (Revelation 12:7)

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:9)

  • Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

  • Father Mychal Judge

    God Bless You

  • The FDNY firefighters are the elite. Not like our firemen in the U.K. who's politically correct, diversity obsessed, Health and Safety deluded rules are turning them into a standing joke. They have to write a risk assesment out to rescue a bloody cat from a tree these days. Not to mention how unfit most of them are. Some of them are proper Salad Dodgers.

  • If you have not made time to watch the full-length documentary "The Saint of 9/11," please do so. As difficult as I still find the subject of September 11th, I took heart from the documentary. There's a lot the casual observer doesn't yet know about this FDNY chaplain.

  • Just because the Vatican hasn't recognized it yet doesn't mean that Jesus has taken him home and called him one of his own.

You'll be known in heaven by the good deeds you did on earth. He is a saint.

  • Makes me proud to be Irish.

  • @moyvilla9 I am an American of Irish parents. Makes me proud too. I was fortunate to meet him. A truly great man. Be well, Jeanne in Manhattan

  • @moyvilla9 Thank you, he was very special. I simply adored him

  • LOrd help me to be like your servant.. St. Padre Mychal..to love uncondiotionaly and to serve unconditionaly.. blessed your name Trinity God!

  • Im so dissapointed this was not shown in Ireland even though Fr. Judge was Irish.

  • I'm not Catholic but God Bless Father Mike.

  • Amazing. This really makes me proud of being a Franciscan.

  • Greetings. As a Fransican,do you agree with the movie's acceptance and promoting of the active homosexual lifestyle? I was disgusted to see unrepented homosexuals brag about receiving the Sacraments with no sense of sorrow or contrition in the movie. They are drinking to their own condemnation. Pray for them. Homesexualtiy is a disorder and is unnatural. Ted

  • God Bless Fr. Mychal Judge.. i wish i knew him.. he reminds me of my previous pastor who is actually at one of his old parishes..

"Lord, take me where You what me to go, let me meet who You what me to meet, Tell me what to say, and keep me out of you way."

  • Father Mychal is a Martyr of modern times!

    Saint Mychal, Pray for us!

  • I love Fr. Mychal Judge. i know he is up there with my aunt. God bless him..

  • He died because he wants to help all guys who was in that tower. I'm sure he did a great job. God will safe his soul. In our hearts he's still alive. The memory lets him life on.

  • Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

  • Amen

  • this man defined everything that is beautiful

..... a true saint .... peace to all ...love heals

  • The dorm I live in is named after him and had a dedication ceremony.

  • RIP Father Mychal Judge: 1933-2001

  • Fr. Judge is a legend. I am Bi-polar, so i can understand how it feels to have pain in life. Fr. Mychal gives me strenght and inspiration. Lord grant him eternal peace, joy and security. J'ai Guru Dev.

  • stmychalthemartyr org is a church in Lexington, KY devoted to Mychal Judge.
