i dont understand why they changed everything at seaside dismantaling rides etc they should of compramised and left some of the originals i miss the log flume thats why i go to wildwood the boardwalk is pretty lame too
Yes I'd say too it was filmed in the very early 70s.I rode the big web wheel as a small child.Regardless of the year it still an amazing film.Thank you again & I hope you'll share others if you have any.
Correction on MY correction (DUH!) There are obvious license plates in this videowhich state 1973 on them...sooo...this film was in fact shot in 1973.
You might be right. We think it was filmed over a period of time and features shots from multiple years between 69 and 76. Perhaps they used existing footage from a few years prior to filming. I only guessed pre-1976 because I knew when that funhouse was destroyed. I am not sure, really.
Great video find! However, I'd like to post a correction on the dating of this video. Being a huge fan and somewhat historian of Seaside, I can attest to teh fact that this video was taken WAY before 1977. The large ferris wheel in the center of the main boardwalk was dismantled in January of 1975. Also there are rides on the Casino Pier which were done away with in as early as 1972. With that said, we can safely assume that this video is actually dated from 1969 or 1970.

I think they moved the log flume out to the pier at least I saw one operating there last week. Mike Brown operated the origional log flume.
